Spotted a VE SS ute coming through the armco railing on Davey-Hastings rd at about 1:30am on Friday night. Was pissing with rain and he's obviously gone to give it a squirt and fishy'd it into the median strip. Front looked pretty wiped out and he was stuck teetering on the middle of the road, couldn't go back and couldn't go forward. Think the back wheels were off the ground. He came smashing through the railing about 10 metres in front of me. I pulled up and asked if he was ok and saw that he had the window down and techno pumped up LOUD!. He just looked at me with pupils the size of dinner plates and didn't say anything... Just sat there getting rained on. Wonder why?

Did you enjoy it though Dags? I have to agree with it being the "most shocking and disturbing film" ever.... But I really liked it. I thought it was incredibly well done while being repulsive and brutal at the same time. After watching it, me and my mates had a saying for when someone was getting screwed over or something got broken ("it's been Monica Belluci'd"). Did you know the first bit, in the gay club, with that pulsating *WHOOOWHOOWHOO* noise in the bg and the constant rocking motion of the camera was actually intended to nauseate the audience to heighten their feeling of disgust and unease. Doesn't come across too well on a TV but in a cinema I can imagine it would've been extremely full on. My mrs. was there when we watched it too and she still says to this day that it affected her. That 10 minute shot or whatever it is, in the underpass.... Imagine even acting that!

Event Horizon was a pretty freaky film back when I was younger. Movies don't really tend to scare me though. Prime time TV (and the fact that so many people are willing to watch it) is what scares the sh*t out of me...

I tell her everything, because it's better to get her pissed, then lay low for a bit rather than have her find out down the track. She does a lot of eyerolling mostly, but she's helped finance every mod I've done so far so she can't be too against it

Been playing story mode a bit over the last week or so (PC). There's a reason why I haven't played online yet too It's cool but gets a little sameish after a while. Drive here, kill this guy, drive here, kill these guys, etc. And the targets are so damn far away from each other. It could just be because I'm not that far into it yet. Other than that, I'm completely addicted to Forza Motorsport 2 on 360 and have been all year Nothin' like buying a C or B class car and spending 100k on turning it into an Ultra class animal. Also been trying out a few drift setups in different cars, with mixed results I'm also pretty leet at CoD4 (PC... the ONLY way to play an FPS imo). My GF's brother just setup a server/teamspeak so we're gunna do some casual clan play over the holidays. Good to see there's a few other poindexters out there

It didn't happen on the surround for me. But it was exactly the same as that on the top of my knob. I just rubbed it back and gave it a coat of silver spraypaint. It looks dodgy as hell but I haven't come across a cheap second hand shifter where that little insert isn't scratched or worn. Better off buyin a new piece as it's a pita to rub back that metallic coating (I'm guessing it's the same as the knob).
