Left Stranded
Not sure if anyone has encountered this before, but was on my way home yesterday arvo, when stopped at a set of lights I decided to move into left lane & go straight ahead. Turned the wheel and slowly turned left....and heard and felt clanking/banging from rear drive wheels. Thought someone might have tried to take wheels off, but nope, all tight. Tried to continue forward with massive banging. Tyre dealer across from this says looks like broken axel or diff Had to get it flatbed towed to a holding yard and am about to check with dealer on matter. Anyone else had diff/axel go snap for no apparent reason?? I cant see that any minor wheelspin that afternoon in the wet would have done any major damage like this...

QLD Event No. IV
Bad news ppl. Left stranded yesterday arvo when the diff or axel let go. Couldnt even move it 5m without it feeling like id snapped the wheel hub off. So my pride & joy was flat bed towed to a holding yard and now I've gotta get the dealer to diagnose the prob, & fix/replace the broken bits all in time for a ute show Sat, and the Dyno day Sun. Chances of this..... currently 5% Will keep yas updated. If a get a loaner car (Focus?!) can I put it on the dyno

Qld Cruises And Events
I've been on Kingston Park, Archerfield, and Willowbank karts, but not Darlington Park's. So tell ya what. I'll head out there for a burl (anyone wants to come please le tme know), and if the karts can handle my frame, I'll proceed with the plan. Otherwise, yeah, I'd be looking at Willowbank, as the Archerfield track is way too small, as is the Kingston Park layout. BARRA

Qld Cruises And Events
As with most of the karts the seats are a tight fit for big dudes, however they are 4 stroke babys and seem to have some boogie. Not a bad thing either as the track is windy in an uphill/downhill sence, which opens some great overtaking/undertaking manuvours. Bookings are out to about a month. So who's keen? ? Or are y'all scared little bara will be kicking some arse

Qld Cruises And Events
Wayne, What's happening with this ? ? I have prices on the Karts at Darlington Park if interest is there. Been out to check it, and must say is very good looking track and at 1300m the biggest around. Karts are also quicker than most. Is not very expensive either. Also the Dyno day offer. Is that still on? ? Would be good to get this done ASAP due to the increasing warm weather. So if the offer is on let's get a date locked in Eddie. BARRA

BA Falcon Security
Thinkin it was a Pusuit Ute, as I've seen a post about said same vehicle being nicked at FF.com and proutes.com Gotta be spewin about that. :o Can't say I've heard of a BA or AU being stolen where the keys weren't used.

Finally found it
Having the Ute, the rear doesn't thrill me, but HELL YEAH I'd put one of those front spoilers on for sure. It looks great. Just one more thing for the cops to be attracted to me

AUTO SALON
That ute belongs to Phantom, from proUtes.com. Very schmick sled, and always well presented. Took out best Ford ute post2000 at the Bris Expensive Daewoo Ford Show.

Clear tail lights
Gday dude. Mate to be really honest, the reverse light in the taillights is really p!ssweak, so if you already have some new clear look taillights (like yours truely) then I'd stick with em. You ain't missin much by not having the reverse light operational.

removing badges on utes
You could also try fishing line. Use it like dental floss behind the decal to 'slice' it away. Then use something like Eucaliptus Oil to remove the remaining glue.

Sydney to Gold Coast
Could always take those that decide to venture up out to The Spit. I understand that weekend arvos there are also full of rides parked and lapping, without the cops and their jackboot nazi hassling. Could make for some good photo opps as well as somewhere cool for the visitors to see some of the Coast.

Qld Cruises And Events
Apologies for late reply dude. Am currently on hiatus in NSW. Does this event at Wynnum also have a ute show, as am wondering if it's part of a Strawberry festival/Ute Show/Car Show our ute club did last year. If so, then would say that I'd be going anyway with the ProUtes, otherwise if not then I can't see any reason why I couldn't show up for ya Always keen to show off the sled, especially as part of the Ford contingent. Parking Game
11.33 sec @ 44.13 points Workin on single figures

Highest speed you've done
185kph in the BA XR6 Ute (Speed limited), which is pretty weak 'cause I was doin 175kph before changing to fourth. Same top speed in my AU III XR6 Ute also. Fastest though is while psgr in another BA XR6, although best kept quiet as the missus of said driver may not appreciate the figure.
-
L-plater clocked at 195 kpm on Hume highway
BA XR6 Utes are speed limited to 185kph due to the one piece driveshaft, as opposed to the turbo's, sedans, FPV etc. Can confirm this for a fact Nothing to do with aero.

QLD Cruise No. III
Welcome on board SBR. Glad to see more people are realising what a waste of space the current Nazi is that leads the Qld XR Club. Hell the guy doesn't even have an XR, or if he does it hasn't been seen in like at least 6 months on any of the cruises. Maybe he really likes his Magna. Heaven forbid that anyone question the way the place is run, or the decisions made, as to do so means crucifiction. And the other members are too blind or scared to act like individuals and vioce their own opinions. XR6Turbo.com is the way it shoud be. No charges, and group input to decide what goes down. Dedicated people who organise the cruises etc behind the scenes, who don't make a big deal out of it, or claim that there should be a cost applied to cover their time. And as long as you don't act like a knob, then it don't matter if it's a XR6T, XR6, or xr8. Hell we've even had stocko BA's out with us, and an XF sedan. (God bless em)

Who has a dvd player fitted?
Dunno if you've seen my setup Jeff. DVD unit in the psgr airbag hollow, and screen unit comes out from where the tissue holder is. Gone through it in another thread somewhere in he site. All work done by that genius they call Goldie. Total cost under $700, as opposed to min$2000 for all on eone dvd player & screen.

It did a 15.1 with a 5sp manual... I WANT ANSWERS
