QLD Cruise No. III

Okay people, the time has come for QLD Cruise No. III.

We have something a little different for you people this time.

It's going to be a navigational cruise with the final destination a mystery right up till the last question and checkpoint.

Basic description: You will need to answer a set of questions in order to find the next checkpoint. Possibly 3 checkpoints in all, the last checkpoint being the 'final destination'. Each car will take off in intervals of 2 minutes. You will be timed on how quickly you get from checkpoint to checkpoint and your kms will be recorded, the person at the end that has travelled the least distance and in the shortest time will be the winner.

Sounds fun eh? Lets go, go go!!!

Cruise will be on Sunday 8th August.

Actually it will be you guys having all the fun. We, (Cruise Control plus 1 or 2 volunteers), will be manning the checkpoints.

At this stg I would love to come up to cruise and meet you QLD boys (that's if you dont mine southerners coming along) as the hinze dam cruise looked like it was a top day,will let you know closer to the date but at this stg

Would be unreal if some of the NSW or ACT boys were keen to cruise up with me as well

We will ask that people abide by the legal speed limits and road rules at all times. We will be doing test runs and will have a good idea of the average times so we will know if people have been speeding as the number of kms are recorded as well. Just because it's timed doesn't mean it's a rally championship or anything.

It's just a fun, easy day where the final destination will be a place where we can have a BBQ lunch, sit back, relax, catch up with each other and we will also have a few activities and a raffle with the proceeds going to Chris to inject into the forum. That's all.

Cruise No. IV or V will more than likely be one for the performance enthusiasts.

We do not mind if the boys and girls from down south like to come up for some warm winter weather and of coarse some fun.
