No matter what we all think of Skaife, he IS a great driver and a true champion. Yes there is an arrogance to the man, but perhaps that is in part to the marketing machine behind him through the years? Expensive Daewoo has had a strangle hold on the series. On a bad day he still beats half the field! He can drive. Good on him. Must admit I do get a small smile when things go wrong... :biglaugh: , but with that plonka R Kelly, I hope the little sh#t fails every time. That bloke has the Wrong attitude. Ingall has fired up Supercheap, (Morris and Murphy are wackos and should be punted) so maybe next year Skaife can improve the profile of one of the other lower teams? As to Lowndes & Whincup, the PR guys are all over them. Lowndes never says a bad word about anyone/thing. I really admire Lowndes and cheer for him every race. Even so, he is a genuine bloke and a real gentleman. Whincup on the other hand is another Skaife. He has a real arrogance and RKelly wrong attitude. Looking forward to a strong Ford finish this Indy weekend. Has anyone seen any Ford advertising off the back of the strong showing this year??

Yes, a great day had by all (bar one )! Been a few years since I was at the mountain last, so a great buzz for me. 11 hours on the road door to door, got home at 6:15pm and 483klms later. Really liked the back roads, shame about those slow black cars !!!!! Thanks to RevHeadRobbo & LC for assisting us on this cruise. Will work on the photos asap and post them. Thanks again guys (and gals) for a great day out.

Considering how nicely you have requested my participation, I have no option other than to say Yes. Was trying to see if I could wrangle this and the Snowies cruise as well, but SWMBO will have none of it! As to sleeping in till 8am, phffft!, coming from the home of the 2008 NRL Premiers - GO MANLY!, I'll have an early rise. Another great result for Ford. Lowndes is the senior driver of that team. Whincup couldn't handle the pressure at Philip Island ( and team management know it) so Lowndes took control of Bathurst. There both champions but Whincup has a few more years of maturity in front of him to step as the front player. Lowndes set up Philip Island for a win, but Tander applied the blow torch and Whincup felt the heat. I like GT, sham he drives for the other team!!! Hope we can get him across????? The Tander/Skafe combo has failed more times than it's succeded, so who knows????? Yer, I was hoping for a Ford 1,2,3 &4...Lowndes, Courtney, Richards, Coultard....still, as the big fella once sang...two outta three ain't bad..... Go you good thing.

Was up your way this week just gone. On Holidays :holiday: Saw stacks of T's and N/A's. Two T's at Coolangatta who's plates that I've managed to remember are.... Phantom T "03XRT" with good lookn girl no, not you PC cause it was a ute!! and Black sedan "KIN63". Nice place, shame I could only stay for the week this time.

Just thought I'd let you locals know that I will be at Rainbow Bay (Coolangatta just in case you don't know) from Saturday arvo onwards. Up for a short break with the family. Right on the beach at Rainbow Place. Doubt I'll have a chance to cruise around, but if any of you guys see me, please give me a wave and I'm sure to wave back. Be pushing off at 3:30am so off to bed in a minute and should get to the GC around lunch time roadworks permitting. Hope I see a few of you around. Manly to win!

I had these pads put on mine with a new set of DBA4000's. Had alot of squeal until they bedded in. Did some hard driving and they wore out very quickly and have worn 1mm out of my rotors as well! I have put the standard pads back on for now. When I replace the rotors again I will use a different brand. Not sure just yet. Good luck.

I took Cro's advise and bought a set of Michelin Pilot Preceda 245/40/ZR18's for my T back in August. They are a fantastic tyre. Quiet as, stick like glue and so very confident. Expect to pay more than $400 per unless you can cut a deal somewhere. Good hunting!
