  1. Happy Birthday Turboboy!

  2. I've got 245's on mine. 18" wheels. Michelin Pilot Preceda. Great tyre, just coming up to 2 years and 40,000klms on them and looking to replace now. Got a quote of $480 per today. I've got 235 Falken semi slicks for my track days and they are great as well, so personally, I don't see any big difference in 235 V 245, but I want 245"s if that makes sense?
  3. Happy BIG 50 Ninka! Not far behind you. Was in perth a few weeks back for a convention. Nice place. Saw stacks of T's and heeps of utes???? when going for my morning walk down past the old Swan brewry and then back into town. Just missed the big storm. Cheers Turboboy.

  4. This morning at 7:36am in the S's on Delhi Rd,....."HOOOON" at 10:30am(ish) on Victoria Rd heading towards the Gladesville Bridge,.."DB0320" two nice examples
  5. Two quick sightings tonight. Forest Way heading upto Mona Vale Rd - Grey Ute "ASX720", and Beacon Hill - Orange FG was turning into Warringah Rd and only caught a glimpse of plate "XRT???". Couldn't see what model as stopped behind cars, but it had some stick!
  6. is just a little tease........

  8. Well this lad get around! Spotted him a month ago or so ago at Mona Vale, and then a few weeks back when dropping into the Sea Eagles club to buy tickets for our last home game, ( oh the humanity!) he was in at Titan Ford (had a wee little scratch on the front ) but was too lazy to post then! Spotted that nice black F6 again on Griffin Rd Curl Curl tonight........looks and sounds niiice!
  9. You must have bought the extra long play Beatles song...."The Long and winding road"!
  10. It was an FG F6 feast on Saturday. White F6 310 at Abbottsleigh School - netball dad? a gorgeous "breeze" at woolies carpark "PGS666" a real beast and a black one on Griffin Rd Curl Curl, good see'n you again....
  11. I must admit, I am a bit lost for words tonight. Fords decision earlier this year didn't thrill us Ford fans..... V8 Supercars like NASCAR have little relevance to the showroom cars we buy. There are so many drivers across both camps that we admire for their skill and personality. Who would deny Peter Brock the championship status that he earned....not me. Garth Tander, never met him but hey, I like him....Ford buy him!!!!! Said some months ago that Whincup wasn't a fan of mine and some members on this forum gave me a hard time. Still don't like him. He's like Kelly, something just isn't right..... Bottom line, it's always about money...not saying it's necessary a wrong thing, but in such a passionate area, it's tuff to swallow. If I was offerred a bigger job with all the benefits that go with it, would I knock it back......would you??? I've bought tickets to the V8's at Homebush and can't wait to be part of that event, but it will be a weekend of mixed emotions. There's more to this story than what has come out so far, and no doubt more will come to light over the comimg weeks, Sandown talk back will be feverish I expect, will record it for sure, just really down to be honest. Don't see it as a positive move. Will contimue to support Lowndes in 2009, but yer, wind knocked out of my sails. It's a bit like chevy emblems on Commodores, just isn't right. Change happens,...now I'm sounding like a consultant....IT'S WRONG.
  12. Guys, I havn't read all the earlier posts but........ I've got 18's so chains don't fit. Last time I went, had chains on the family bus. FWD. Driving slow at 30klms. So called AWD's overtook. Passed them a few klms up the road when they slid off and went into a ditch. Boring, but take it easy. 5-10mins extra on the road getting there and you will have a much better weekend on the snow rather than having your girl towed and no snow time.
  13. Yer, I saw one of those unmarked Camrys today. At Northbridge, silver with lights flashing as he went past in the opposite direction. He was 1 of 5 after some poor crim! That's why I left the area, better class of guy!

  16. A Black F6, "MK0298" 9:20am(ish) Your veered left onto Concord Rd as I kept right, and went to Homebush Hockey fields. It's wet, wet, wet (no, not a dream) in Sydney
  17. ..."The husband took a quick breath and continued - 'She was so grateful for my understanding and help that as I walked her to the door, she turned to me with tears in her eyes and said, 'Please ... Do you have anything else that your wife doesn't use?' "....... I can relate to this!
  18. Subject: Not all seniors are senile An older, white haired man walked into a jewellery store one Friday evening with a beautiful young gal at his side. He told the jeweller he was looking for a special ring for his girlfriend. The jeweller looked through his stock and brought out a $5,000 ring. The old man said, "No, I'd like to see something more special." At that statement, the jeweller went to his special stock and brought another ring over. "Here's a stunning ring at only $40,000" the jeweller said. The young lady's eyes sparkled and her whole body trembled with excitement. The old man seeing this said, "We'll take it." The jeweller asked how payment would be made and the old man stated, "By cheque. I know you need to make sure my cheque is good, so I'll write it now and you can call the bank Monday to verify the funds and I'll pick the ring up Monday afternoon," he said. Monday morning, the jeweller phoned the old man. "There's no money in that account." "I know," said the old man, "But let me tell you about my weekend!"

  22. On the M2 around 12:30 this arvo heading back into town. In the rear view mirror a yellow beast lerked. Slowed to see who it might be. Nice black wheels and dark tint. Had 2 clients with me so no real opportunity to say g'day. As he headed up the Delhi Rd off ramp a lovely note could be heard. Plates "A?01ZU" Like your ride. I did salute, and one of my clients commented about me doing that...... So,...hello!
