How much was it to get swapped out?

Yeh, doesn't sound like a disc(s) issue, and more an internal thang. in or out of warranty?

EDIT: mine sounds stupid compared to that, so I'll bow out

Snappy quick? or snappy hard?

Does anyone use home/office delivery for fruit and/or veg? I've used a few different people in the past, but need some recommendations if possible, as I haven't for a long time. Cheers Dan

Never had a problem playing any burnt ones, fast or not. What are the files on the cd's? do the cd's play in other cd players?

Only thing you can do is have an independant inspection done (RAC or equiv.) Unfortunately it won't protect you in the future, but can advise you of dodgy ones. If a BA is all you can afford, and can't wait any longer, then I say jump in. I did, and still loving it. Do yourself a favour and don't drive a ZF if you can't afford it!

We had a rep from Sangean come in a few months ago, and I agree Dags, looked ridiculous. and the sound was akin to 64k streamed music. Rubbish. Only benefit so far seems to be more channels, but sound and looks need to be drastically upped quickly. Why would you invest that much money in this new technology only to have something that looks like a $5 POS!?

Arrested Development, was only on late evening here I think, but worth finding and having a look. Ricky Gervais' Extras was brilliant. only a couple of seasons there, but very funny stuff.

I've been in italy/turkey/greece etc recently and unfortunately nothing here compares. Anything here, even a well done espresso, for me requires a little sugar but over there it just works.

Howdy y'all from sunny Florence. Thought I'd drop in quickly since it's been so long between drinks! Europe is pretty mint, not the holiday I'm used to, but very cool. Germany was unbelievable (beer by the litre ftw). Monaco GP was great, the sound was simply eargasmic, but had nothing on Rock am Ring. Best event of my life. Ciao for now Dan

G'day all from sunny Florence couple of well-funny ones from the uk are Black Books with Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey, and Spaced with Simon Pegg. If you like the IT crowd they're well worth a look. Dan Edit: if I may add a bagging also; Russell Brand's Ponderland is pure shyte. I would never miss an opportunity to see him live, but his show is tripe.

Had a quick chat with the Braun team in Monaco, they seemed keen as

Even on my holidays I have time to lend a helping hand!!! HDR AEB Compatible Cameras As chubbs mentioned earlier, you don´t even need AEB, just makes it easier. Just switch your camera over to shoot RAW files (or whatever Nikons equiv. is) and run it through Photomatix PS: G´day from sunny Madrid

try that, and maybe try tightening up the bolts on the turbo itself.

dubious websites such as...??

God damn you Tabitha! I actually fell for that one!!! Longest lasting (assuming it needs to visited frequently?) must be OT thread. Fastest growing... Random Pic Post Thread? Worst... this one or this one or this one or even this one Actually, the last one was pretty good!

except for the ones that shave! Is this the box that was rumored to be using the 'escargo' bands???

Looks great mate, I've done a few in the past using the HDR stuff. This one looks really understated which is great. Lot of people get carried away and wash everything out. Keep em coming man!! EDIT: fark, I think I've lost the lot! can't find one!

Righto then, I'm off! Leaving tomorrow morning (thursday @ 6am farkin!). Thanks to all for your help in my recent topics. I hope to reward with tales of excitement and many photos. Biggest highlights will be Rock am Ring, one of the world's biggest concerts with 100,000 people in attendance over three days in Germany and the Monaco GP, need I say more!? When I return I will be an officially taken man (all things going as planned that is!), so wish me well in that endeavour See y'all on the flip side! Dan

Bugger!

Damn you for making me laugh at that!

Haha, im not even thinking about the wedding side of things, just get engaged and enjoy that for the moment. Given how long it's been im sure it won't be too soon. casual sounds good though!

Well congrats mercs, from what I've heard though the 'fiancee' part of the deal isn't too bad. How/When/Where etc mate?
