Any power gains are very minimal if any. Only benefit is suction/flow and yes, the induction noise that sounds like it could suck up a small child from the sidewalk.

I have had an experience when younger with a full coke can through a window of ex-GF's car. Car came close to rolling after cracking the windscreen, veering off the road and into sand on Reid Hwy. May I ask why you would want to 'downgrade' to 18's?? Or any others for that matter? Are they the same wheels indifferent sizes? Or are they different wheels all together?

quicky? is that you in there? wilbaz, it is the stock limiter you're hitting mate. I had the same experience for the first time a few weeks ago. Showing a new Lexus driver what for and was not concentrating. Hit it in first and almost went through the friggin' windscreen. (still managed to back off, get second and see him fade into distance though)
