Oh really, anyone know how the clutch compares to the T's 6spd? Ive got dodgy knees and the T clutch was just to much work. I assume the car is no slouch either. Felix

Nah, didnt last night, had no tools and I've had a hose come off before and it didnt feel like that. When boost did come on half track it came on strong (not as strong as normal, but stronger than hoseless). Once I find some underwear I'll go outside and have a poke around. Felix

Not to well... Been taking it real easy around town the last week what with the double demerit points, so I haven't even had anything more than a little squirt. Well after my first run, I thought that it felt pretty slow down the track, slower than my practices launches at 3am on the way to work over the last few weeks. I grabbed my slip and I was right, 2.3 60ft and 13.2 @ 109mph 1/4mile... I then thought back to the run and how I had very little tyre slip off the line and it didn't seem to start powering home until half track. So rolled around for another run putting the first run down to nerves and maybe I hesitated on the throttle off the line. Second run, felt the exact same, and as I hit the braking area I noticed the MIL was illuminated on the dash, the one that comes on when you don't meet emission standards. So rolled round to the tower and switched the ute off and grabbed my slip, mirror run of my first, 2.34 60ft and 13.2 @ 110mph 1/4 mile. So I thought no way am I going home on a tilt tray so I called it a night. On the way home I took it real easy but just from playing with the revs and throttle it felt really unresponsive and under powered drove fine and sounded fine under 3000 rpm. Got home and had a listen to the exhaust and it sounded different. So I'm thinking maybe a collapsed cat? On the bright side, even under powered I smoked two worked SS commodores. Think I broke one of the guys hearts when he came up to me after wards and told me my ute was quick and I replied with 'nah, its really down on power'. Oh well, you play you pay. Any thoughts? Felix

285kw thru a ZF Auto. I've heard some put them down to 20, others dont bother at all. Yeah, nothing any good. it came at a bad time. Least I have traction in the dry now... well mostly. Felix

I'm heading out to the strip this arvo, anyone else going to be taking a run tonight? It's going to be my second outing to willowbank, as long as I beat 13.8 I'll be happy. I have no idea what I'll run with the new power. Is it worth messing with tyre pressures? Felix

Lowest I have been done is 112 in a 100, lowest I've heard is 99 in a 90. Anyone else had lower? I wonder how those camera's would go with some nice big home made electro magnets. Ive got a free weekend and I brought my tools home from site I wonder........... Felix

Anyone see a 'story' on the news last night about the Brisbane Story Bridge fixed camera? I missed it but someone was telling me they made some sort of claim that they would be 'setting the cameras to 1km over...'? They also said something about a recent car crash 200m before the camera and made some link/justification to/for the camera. Was speed even a factor? I heard a lady died? Frigging flip flop media, one day its 'YAY, speed cameras save lives!' the next day its 'Cameras Cash Cows' or 'How accurate are they?' Felix
