Its hard to get a idea of speed from filming from the inside, plus that V8 sounds so lazy... what speeds were you getting down that straight? Felix

Yeah I know that, what I meant was when I put the fuel in it changed from zero (under 10km DTE) to nearly half as soon as I started the car up after putting in fuel. As if putting the tiny bit of fuel in made it start reading properly again. Felix

It was pretty steep, but I drove around for 10mins and left it running for 5mins on the flat... I figure what ever is inside got stuck?!? that's what I dont know, I dont know how it all works inside. :hiwelcome: Felix

This might be a stupid question but its got me stumped.... I started my car up and had to reverse up my driveway (very steep), after sometime on the slope (3 mins) I noticed the gauge read empty, although I knew that there was over 1/4 tank fuel. After leaving it parked on the flat for hour it still read the same. It wasn't until I put in 10 lt (just to get me to my usual fuel station) It then read 250 DTE... I know being on the slope effects the reading, but why did it not go back to normal after sitting on the flat. My question is, how does the level get read? Being on the slope, clearly did something to the my gauge, did sticking the tiny bit of fuel in 'move' something? Thanks Felix
