An f6 would be nice. But I couldn't justify loosing 15/20k depreciation in a couple of years buying new.

Same thing I been thinking....

Hi all I'm new to the forum well posting anyway been reading for a while. Anyway I'm going to be buying an xr6t in the next couple weeks a bf one built after the 6/6 to get the stronger internals would prefer manual but would still be happy with auto If I get a stock one I would eventually be modding it and taking it to around the 300kw mark. These are the two I was looking at

http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Ford-Falcon-Ute-2006/SSE-AD-2376500

And this one

http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotive/Cars/Cars-For-Sale-/FORD/FALCON/2007-FORD-FALCON-UTILITY/South-Hurstville/NSW/AdNumber=94LCKZ

One is completely stock and the other one is modded with pretty decent power and pretty much all the mods I would be doing eventually now my question is would I be better off buying the stock one and saving some money and eventually modding it all myself or would it be better to buy the modded one and have a higher risk of it being flogged around everywhere and be about to fall apart but save money on modding and tuning the stock one. Sorry for the massive post but I'd appreciate any input coz I know you blokes know what your talking about

Cheers

personally I would go the 07. Its later and less klms. With the tuned one find out who did the tuning before purchasing.

I prefer to buy stock then mod myself, then I know whats been done.

Yer I know what you mean so you don't reckon it's worth it to save the money on the clutch and all the bits and pieces

I suppose find out who tuned it first, that might make up your mind. It is cheaper to buy already done but I prefer to do the mods myself. Always done it this way
