CG Locks - Group Buy

Recommended Posts

Good spot :)

Pretty sure we need to use the longest screws (comes with 3 sizes)

Think it's a 2mm allen key to tighten them

I need to (or find it easier to) push the lever down when pushing the bracket onto the unit.

Make sure you push it all the way down/on.

Just checking if I missed anybody and if I've got the qty's right.  I plan to buy the CG Locks this week.

Here's the list as I have it so far.

List of Participants in Group Buy  (current total = 20)

1. EvilDaifu - qty 3

2. Rab - qty 2

3. k31th - qty 1

4. -Stever- - qty 3

5. Ralph Wiggums - qty 2

6. Lennox - qty 1

7. arronm - qty 4

8. OZYWALKER - qty 2

9. espoig - qty 2

I'll also find out the cost of the child snugs as well.

@arronm child snugs are $20 each but they said once the child grows older they are really easy to undo.  They suggested going with the CG Lock like what @Rab said as they are harder to undo.

Let me know if you still want to go ahead with the child snugs or update your qty of CG Locks.

Also @Ezy2Confuze - did you want any CG Locks?  I wondering if it was case of someone posting up with someone else's account without know they had done so (due to the logged in as someone else issue)?

I was wearing mine today and some f*&kw%t almost took me out turning right between a gap in traffic right infront of me head on.  I reckon it helped me swerve suddenly to the left to avoid the collision.

Ok.  Give me 8 x CG Locks.  No snugs.  You can put my 8  in an express post bag for under $20.

Gary's the "G" part of CG Locks

He's just made a bit of pocket money from the forum selling stuff that was already in his cupboard ;)

:roflmbo:

I gotta say I tried driving without the CG Lock today and I noticed the difference where I was using the steering wheel more to keep me in the seat.  It's a noticeable difference after 3 days of driving with the CG Lock on.

Some of us have heaps of time on their hands I suspect :roflmbo:

Back to back meetings today so I'll do the PMs tonight but just letting you know I probably won't be able to ship stuff out til after the weekend due to other committments - sorry about that.

By the way not to late for any late comers wanting to participate in the group buy.  I bought some extra one justin case.

Have you tried the "slide the seat back, tighten the CG Lock, slide the seat forward" yet?

I know you hate moving the seating position, but front/back doesn't stuff up the "zone".

I don't do it for day to day driving, but when things are going to get serious it's awesome.

I used to think that the racing harness in a car was a safety item - not anymore

No worries accelrate - have one for you.

Current list is:

List of Participants in Group Buy  (current total = 25)

1. EvilDaifu - qty 3

2. Rab - qty 2

3. k31th - qty 1

4. -Stever- - qty 3

5. Ralph Wiggums - qty 2

6. Lennox - qty 1

7. arronm - qty 8

8. OZYWALKER - qty 2

9. espoig - qty 2

10. accelrate - qty 1

I'm at home now and found the following about packaging for shipping interstate:

For those wanting 1 - I'll put them as is in the parcel satchel.  Postage $9

For those wanting 2 - do you mind if I take them out of the box and flatten the box to fit in the parcel satchel?  The boxes just don't quite squeeze into a 500g satchel.  Postage $9

But if you want them to remain as is in the boxes - I can put them in a larger 3kg satchel postage $14 - just let me know at time of payment.

For those wanting 3 - I'll invest in some 3kg parcel satchels  (postage more expensive at $14 instead of $9) but should be able to put 3 in satchel as is without taking them out the boxes.  I need to do this as 3 weighs more than 500g.

arronm - I can fit all your 8 in a 3kg parcel satchel if I take them all out the boxes and flatten the boxes.  If you prefer packing them some other way - just let me know.

For all the ones I take out the boxes - I'll bubble wrap the actual individual CG Locks.

Is the above arrangement okay?
