Holy f*ck, this sucks to have happened

Basically what you do is not settle unless you get everything fixed 100%, new transmission, new shaft, new diff and anything in between that was affected. If they are not able to do this in a reasonable time frame then there is laws about this too so be in the know. This is a major failure.

You will never get time back your present becomes your past as you breathe so do the best you can do to ensure while repairing you are not left without the joy of a new car for too long

Major fail = new car or full refund! That's exactly what I would ask for, no more or less.

Don't have it repaired, you will regret it later when something else fails/plays up.

Going to be a 2 week wait for parts and then they got to diagnose why it happend and fit the new parts on making it sound like a month. Problem is the car was bought from a ford dealer in the metro area and it broke in the middle of woop woop, so I dont no who to hit up for the new car, really just want my money back car has been a headache. Great to drive when it is. But always doubting whats gonna break next... Inhave a e2000 1996 work van with 115,000km and I honestly trust it more than my xr6t... Honest just glad the tail shaft broke where it did, other wise I would have won a gold medal for pole vaulting.

New Car warranty under Ford includes road side assist so Ford will have to pay for it to be shipped back to where ever it needs to be shipped to have it assessed. Your first contact is with the original dealer and stating the above fixes (car or money). This should take reasonable time to assess and provide ( 7 days ) if not happy with response call Ford Customer Service HO ( 13 FORD) and restate your case ( your rego is your case number) if not happy with the response state that the next course of action is fair trading and they should react if not make a claim and follow through. Log everything in print/email, make note of names/dates/times and be professional in your approach. Your main argument is that you would not have brought the car if you knew of the faults/issues and when you first seen a minor issue you were told it wasn't an issue only for it to then turn into a major issue that could of resulted in your personal injury/death.
