Who would install an oil pump on a short that has to be transported and risk it being damaged..

I only commented on the oil pump as barnz thought it would be fitted . I will find a good engine builder no problems that will do it for less ,but still as good as Tony would or very close to it .

You're seriously just buying random jigsaw pieces at the moment, without even having the cover pic that shows what the finished result looks like.

You really, really need to start working from the pointy end downwards - and you're not going to be able to find the pointy end on your own.

Instead of trying to gather all the bits together to hand off to the builder to finish you really should lock in the first.

You wouldn't take a shopping bag full of stuff you thought would taste good to a chef and tell them to cook you an awesome meal - you'd ask him give you a shopping list

You know the meal you want - but you're not a chef.

You know the main ingredients, but you don't know the spices, nor the cut of meat that makes the meal.

You come here for advice and suggestions and run with stuff that sounds like it will taste good and bypass the sour tasting hints. Sometimes a bit of lemon rind is the perfect ingredient.

Find your mentor - your chef - your engine builder.

Let them know what they have to work with and let them work out the recipe.

Don't end up with a camp stew made of leftovers and a hodge podge of scraps.

Jamie from forced performance has all the go fast bits covered , it only came to a halt due to the engine being not as good as I thought when I took the rocker cover off . ps I phoned Jamie today (had no time to talk ) but he said he knows a good engine builder that is reasonable with his prices . stop everyone ,I will get there in the end with great results . I have asked about a yella terra flex plate , but no comment . firstly I need a flex plate as mine is stuffed . I also need a 12 psi actuator . thanks but I am doing everything Jamie is asking me to do . I only asked if there are some reputable engine builders or machine shops in Brisbane . Tony would not be the only one that can do a genuine good job .

when I originally was going to get a engine build ,some commented why bother a FG will do the same . so I go out buy a low mileage FG engine . then I find out it has some problems , which I can get fixed . then some say you should have got it build in the first place . WTF are you guys on , f*cking stick to one path when giving advise . just because I do not want to go to Tony you get your back up .
