I get the feeling I'll cop some flack about my reaction to Aaron for a while...haha

Well after reading some of the Google reviews about the dealership I purchased my car from and noticing that any negative feedback had been attended to by the Dealer Principal I figured I would also email him to give him a heads up that I'd contacted Ford out of frustration and forwded him a copy of the email I sent Ford, figured I should at least give them a bit of a chance to come up with some form of resolution (and not completely burn my bridges in case I need to go back for any warranty claims). He replied to me within two hours (on Good Friday no less) saying he was sorry to hear about the situation with my vehicle and its stripes and that he would look into it on Tuesday when he gets into work and that he would call me Tuesday. See what comes of it I guess.

have not seen any info about ford going under

It is my understanding that Ford aren't going under, just going from down under.

that is my understanding as well, yet I keep reading about ford going broke, closing down etc

I'll bet Expensive Daewoo will follow if this is true.

What a f*cking disgrace .... you need to find out who the clown is who decided to put fake stickers on your FPV and ensure he gets disciplined for it or Fired.

They can fit the decals so long as they have people who can do them to the same standard that will pass Ford QC. Let them do it and if your not happy about how they line up then get them to re-do it until its the same of another genuine GT to compare with.

Obviously if nobody at the dealership is trained to fit decals in the same level of workmanship as done at the ford factory then it cannot be done there,

the only real option is to send the car back to Ford or to swap a replacement GT with Decals for your Lemon car you got given.

When you get it sorted just ask them -- "So do you think now it pays off to fit fake decals on new cars?"
