Wouldn't want to be anywhere near GRM if the ovlovs can't get started. :pinch:

But yeah it's absolute bullsh*t. Change anything but the tyres or drivers...some of them have pretty much done that and changed absolutely everything else!

My point about the resin Panda was how long is it going to last? 10 laps then back to where we were? Or is it that good it'll be cured and won't give way whatsoever? If the later then why aren't they using it in all high-stress areas to begin with?

Still a long way to go.

Though it won't be a 1000 km and that saddens me.

Without knowing what resin they are using tab I can't really say.. Probably a resin/crete mix and hit with a flame thrower to dry it out.. (Though I am told its mighty warm down there today by my firey mate)..

Resin cured right is feckin near indestructible.. But.. It's not the resin breaking that worries me.. It's a car hitting it, locking the tyre and the whole piece of hardened resin sliding out in one piece under the tyre..

Voila! Pothole as before..

Edit: and probably a very broken car from hitting a wall..

Or a chunk of stone hard resin through a windscreen..

That is also very possible.. But it won't break the windscreen.. Just scare the sh*t out of a diver enough to make him hit a wall..

They can only fix that breaking track by ripping off the surface course of asphalt and relaying it..

Looks like the volvos started okay..
