boost69 Legacy Donating Member 737 Member For: 21y 3m 30d Posted 04/05/15 10:06 PM Posted 04/05/15 10:06 PM I will let you know what things go for today...auction is at 9:30am.Though I can tell you definitivley that the price of the FG II XR6T has been going up over the last six months...Im thinking it must be the lower interest rates, so people aren't as price sensitive...A bit over six months ago, white marked ones were going for around 18 to 19K with roughly 80K kms on the clock give or take 5K kms each way.Clean "country" coloured unmarked ones were hitting around the 20 - 21K mark.Currrently the white ones are hitting around the 21-22K mark, and the nice coloured ones have been hitting 23K-24k...(all have around 80K kms on the clock)I'm a fan of the ex chasers, but when you way up the condition of some of these cars and the amount of kms...the're not as good value as they were...I think everyone has jumped on the bandwagon...and prices have just gone up.The thing is if everyone calmed down with the bidding, the cars would go much cheaper as the State Govt can't just sit there and hold onto these cars, they have to flog them off...I actually can't see the State Govt losing all that much money on these cars, considering the discounts they get form Ford etc...and the use they get out of them...
