Yeha RDP have done a fair few with Cams from Tony, I don't question their ability to tune.

I do however have a fault code P1386 "Camshaft Position timing Over Advanced (see bank 2) (seeP0021) so will be checking

to see if the timing chain has jumped teeth

You'd lose a lot of power on every throttle hit if the timing chain was off by a couple of teeth... but I've seen some funny things happen to cars with jumped teeth so it;s definitely worth checking.

I had that fault come up when my old BF xr6t jumped a tooth, only signs were a slightly hunting idle otherwise drove fine

So it looks like the problem may be sorted.

I went round to see Tony Bellert this morning for him to check the cams and timing. spot on. However. . .

We investigated that P1386 code and it pointed to the exhaust cam so we pulled out the Cam sensor for a look and the bloody thing was all but in two pieces. We replaced it and he checked a few other things which were all spot on.

Started it all up and it idles well now, no fault codes after 200km of driving and no more missing at cruise.

Fantastic Trent

A 7 second run at 18kph / second would of sounded awesome.

Don't suppose you/someone got a video of the run?
