WPMO?
Bloody Telstra pisses me off
Over the past few days I have spent the best part of about 3 hours on the fone
trying to get Mrs BCB's mobile sorted.
Finally today I have success and her fone is up and running again.
But fark me it's so bloody painful
I'm sure their policys are penned by incompetent  fools

I ditched them for TPG for my NBN

but cos I live in "regional" Queensland I need Telstra for their mobile coverage

I thought you lived in the Cairns area? I spose it's getting regional outside of Cairns though.

I was with TPG internet for a long while then we moved and they couldn't cover us any more. We then went with IInet which ironically bought TPG a while back. Go figure?!

Is the Optus network any good for you? We're with Vaya for phones. They are on the Optus network and are very cheap.

Cairns is classed as regional  (postcode 4870)

I used to use Vodafone but the coverage was dismal

I don't know how good Optus is cos have never used them

bottom line is- Telstra has the most transmission towers = best coverage
