Is a certain "Site Developer" sorting out anything special, say gold stars in your sig? :)

Or more than likely a change of avatar to a grumpy old man or something :)

Laser surgery, hands down the best $6,500 I've ever spent! I used to have to wear contacts and glasses all the time. My prescription wasn't huge, but the short sightedness combined with the astigmatism just made everything blurry.

Since the surgery I learnt to appreciate the simple things, like being able to look across my bedroom when I wake up and actually see things.

Does private health care cover a part of that at all?

Some private health cover does, it's one of the only things my Medibank cover is actually useful for.

However Lasik doesn't always last for ever - 10 years is the most if I remember correctly - for some problems, as I was told when I went to the Lions Eye Institute a few years back, which is how I found out after 25+ years of wearing glasses for short sightedness, that I had Kerotoconus, because most optmetrists didn't really know much about it until early 2000's.

Ahh crap. I better book in to go and see DR Lions Eye then.
