Brand is irrelevant

Agreed. Your post seemed to indicate that it was, that's all.

Approximately $41 AUD plus approximately $52 AUD postage :ermm: The average joe doesn't spend anywhere near $100 on a 3/8 drive ratchet.

This isn't Snap-On level pricing. Of course you can get extensions nice and cheap if you go with something from Taiwan.

Again, not Snap-On (or BluePoint) level pricing. Good option on this one, though, good quality product for quite cheap.

$18 seems expensive for a magetic tool. From memory my cheap flexible one was around $5 from supercrap :)

I like to own qaulity tools as they last but for the average Joe enthusiast the tools above are just fine for a once a year Plug change.

If you also purchase a set of 3/8 Sockets You'd have quite a handy set of tools and probably have changed from the cost of normal service.

Agreed. Quality tools FTW. Would have saved myself hundreds if I'd had the a couple hundred to spend when I first got my license haha

Doing minor servicing yourself will save you heaps in the long run, that's for sure :)

I heard sidchrome is basically Stanley anyway Tocchi? Of course I was told after I bought my sidchrome 1/4" and 1/2" drive socket sets. Oh well they still work.

My understanding is whenSydchrome where bought out by Proto, the tools styling was merged and the older Sydchrome tooling/dies sold on (possibly to Stanley)

I think what ralph meant was if you found that hard maybe dont attempt anything else coz its pretty basic...he also covered not having the right tools....

Dont think he was saying dont have a go to you matty...

You know what sh*ts me about it....the 2 torx screws near the fire wall for the plastic cover that feel like they take a million turns to get in and out. Always end up in an awkward position with a sore back....they are long gone now...

^Exactly my points.

As for the rear bolt(s) for the cover, I have always classified them as Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee! bolts as in you throw them over your shoulder and say Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
