I told him the car has seemed fine aside from a little cough I only just noticed revving to 1200 in N the other day playing with new Torque app... the rough idle issue seemed to mostly go away the last year or so...I'm still yet to see a car that doesn't make better midrange power after a set of valve springs has been fitted. You'll be seeing another one pretty soon I'd wager, unfortunately also with new timing chain (+ other recommended bits I need to ask about again) as it just so happens that mine was found to have jumped a tooth when it was open for the new Crow valve springs to go in.:($800 odd dollar job just tripled in price, wish I could afford to do more like oil pump while it's apart but have to stop somewhere. Hopefully the cams that 'looked fine' are indeed OK! That's 190,xxx kms and 121mph trap speeds for you.Was flirting with the idea of ID1000's +retune or surge tank when some used ones were mentioned for sale in WA but there goes that idea!

Tensioner is loose as which caused a really sloppy chain. Still don't know how it ran perfectly all this time. The crank sprocket looked like a saw blade. 200,000+ km
