29/05/17 01:45 AM29/05/17 01:45 AM #8391 I think you better go to opsm. I can see them in the images. Common area to crack.
29/05/17 01:49 AM29/05/17 01:49 AM #8392 that uploaded version of the image is a little blurry. The full version doesn't show up any cracks thanks for your advice, anyway, as I said I'll keep an eye on it.
29/05/17 07:25 AM29/05/17 07:25 AM #8393 drove it this afternoon yay, works good. also... after taking the turbo on and off 3 times (at least...) now the lower turbo drain bolt must be cross-threaded or something as it gets to a point (well before tight enough to seal it) and then loosens... and now it's slowly leaking out of that point... what should I do to repair that? Something like Ralph suggested in this other thread? http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/77651-turbo-oil-drainreturn-replacement/?do=findComment&comment=1157609 also, anybody tried this drop-in replacement? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FALCON-BA-BF-XR6-TURBO-XR8-WALBRO-GSS340-BIG-POD-FUEL-PUMP-COMPLETE-ASSEMBLY-/261849773336
29/05/17 08:11 AM29/05/17 08:11 AM #8398 it was supposed to stay "tune only"... now it's stock with a F6 lower airbox snorkel, BA F6 (the old black car's stock IC) intercooler, with stock FG XR6T turbocharger (as the stock one died and this ended up being a good quality replacement) and K&N filter (fitted before I bought it)... the new turbski means that I need a full tune to take advantage of the extra airflow. Since I'm paying the full price for a tune, I'm going to pay a reasonably small amount for cat/injectors/fuel pump and *hopefully* stop there... oh, and a blocked BOV haha stock is lame, anyway... just sayin'. I'm happy to go against my original expectations
