It doesn't necessarily mean excessively lean mixtures as the additives in modern fuel often leave white colored deposits. As long as they are all a similar color it shouldn't be an issue.Edit: What do the plugs look like? They will tell a better story than the color of the valves

Looked clean and no obvious signs of damage. I don't know what the inside of the turbo And valves should look like wether it should be white black pink yellow! So could this white residue not be a bad thing?
