yup that's the one, the guy with the 1600 is his brother I think I heard him say, I think it had an SR or CA in it.. it had a pretty crazy flutter, sounded high boost and it looked farkin quick.

I own a 2004 XR6 Turbo with 320rwkw, it’s got the 4 speed BTR box in it which is showing signs of stress with the power which I expected. I called up the other week and spoke to a guy called Gary I think and discussed what was possible but looking to get a quote now.

If I could get a quote to rebuild and strengthen my gearbox to handle around 400rwkw, I’ll probably only ever run 350 but I like to be safe. I’d like to put a 2800rpm hi-stall in also, happy to take your advice but would like a quality one such as TCE or dominator, I say this because I’ve heard people modifying the stock one which isn’t something I want. Could I get a price for drive in, drive out and one for just the box being delivered?

I’m not very mechanically minded but have researched as much as possible which led me to you guys so happy to take your advice on what I’ve asked for.

The stage 2 high performance transmission that we build is rated to 350rwkw, but we have many customers that run 400rwkw with no problems.

The stage 2 transmission includes a shift kit valve body upgrade, planetary set, h/p 2^nd servo assemble and a 2600rpm high stall converter (standard body)

$2850 trans only or $3200 supplied and fitted.

Owned a Toyota Soarer for 1.5 years.(now for sale) and have found me a BA MK II XR6T running a built engine block from Atomic performance with a genuine garret 352GR ( I think that's what it is called), plasma west full front mount kit, running 17psi, getting tuned soon but should be punching 425RWKW.

shaunny a std bodied unit converter is a stock modified unit , when done properly its an awsome converter and can go as high as 3100rpm ...................but if u want to do it right and run it at the drags go the dominator a rrp 3k hi stall from dominator is $1300ish
