Previously had a BA turb's with 330rwkw with Bruce doing all the work on that. Now have an FG F6 that went to him and tune alone made 327rwkw (Bruce said this was down 20kw on what he would expect but I want reliability so it makes what it makes safely and that's that) Since that have done lots more mods and had 425rwkw and it's currently at his workshop now getting a built donk too.... I'm sure plenty of other SA peeps will vouch for him also. If for some reason you decide otherwise then speak to Willall RacingMorpowaDepends where you live, there are others too...jump into the SA section if you get stuck.

Yeah I can't wait to get it back, think Bruce is waiting on parts and looking into options for strengthening the tailshaft for me....heard too many stories of them twisting lately.

So I got the F6 back on Thursday night, made 425rwkw @ 16 psi on the Caltex eflex stuff and 391rwkw on 98 @ 16 psi. Want to get some United e85 in her and see what she pulls. Bruce had a fair bit of trouble tuning her.....anyway I got a speeding fine on the way home but that's not even the sh*t part yesterday the car just died when I was going through a roundabout...had to get it towed to Bruce's and he thinks it's the timing chain....FML! not sure what to do now. When it was running though it was bloody awesome and insane.

Tyre Sales Adelaide on FB is where I've got mine from lately. the 19's are $150 I think. need some new ones myself lol.

327rwkw with just a tune but plans atm would be something like PW stepped cooler, Exhaust (not sure yet, Nizpro?), Injectors to support straight e85, race airbox/battery relocation and think the new kpm fuel pump. Not sure on a few things like whether the cooler will be good enough and things like valve springs but hoping for around the same as you 450rwkw.

75,000km or there abouts. Once I sell the BA (which reminds me to ring bruce) I'll up the power on the F6 and it'll get sorted out one way or another then lol.

I'm not happy with the time it takes to change gears, not really sure what I can do about it atm cause I haven't had much time to research but im thinking a flush to start with but don't really hold much hope that'll sort it. I think I'll just smash it till it breaks and hopefully a rebuild will be better lol.

If Jet can't help you Dom I got Bruce to do mine when tuning the zf and haven't had any problems. My ZF isn't that great but nothing to do with the trans cooler.

c'mon Dom! we've talked about this lol. I've already bailed and got the F6 you have to go for it and make me jealous haha

I looked into doing similar but never convinced myself it wasn't ghey. Here's a pic I found of them fitted if it helps. (someone beat to it.) ps. the smoked black ones would be my pick.

Yeah I did this the other day, made heaps of difference to my ears and much happier with this over the stock sub

I got my 08 FG F6 back from Bruce yesterday and tune only it made 327 rwkw. You'll be well into the 300's mate. 378 is my guess.

Picking up my new car tomorrow, FG F6, nitro, auto, leather, 69,000km. haggled down to $33,000, really happy with it.

Yeah I listen to Bruce's advice....I've just had my gearbox rebuilt and strengthened at MV Auto's, it's rated to 350rwkw and 2600rpm hi-stall....hasn't missed a beat and is pretty solid.....I think I've decided to sell up and buy an FG F6 though so either be selling it or trading it in...not sure yet. About 170,000km on the car now, I've had it since 100,000km and only had work done for about 20,000km I rekon. I toy'd with this idea and still do. sell up and get a BF/FG F6 with a ZF and go down that path.....at the end of the day I own my current car and im a lil attached, I ultimately want to build the car so not much is possible or at risk of breaking so I can save for a house. everything I listed above will probably cost 12-15k so yeah could go either way. f*ck I'm too indecisive! LOL

I don't do much hills driving so would be more straightline speed, in saying that though my car does need some suspension work because of the age. The only other thing to throw into the equation is work on the driveline as my current tune is pretty strong on torque.

Hey peeps, decisions decisions are coming my way. Looking for some advice or even just what you would do if it was your car. So rarely im going away for a week on the 22nd of September, I want to get some work done on the car while im away and I've got about 6k to spend. My car already has 300rwkw with the mods listed in my sig and im at about 170,000km (needs a bit of love). I've listed what I want to do to my car in order of preference or what I think I should spend it on. 4k spend on suspension, quoted on front end rebuild, rear end rebuild, whiteline sway bar and bilstein shocks. No idea on costs but new gtx turbo with .7 front and to go with it probably full exhaust and 4" airbox. Roughly 4k for Bruce to rebuild the engine to support about 400-450rwkw (Built auto only rated to 350rwkw but they say it can see more) Just under 2k for a respray and body work I rekon (Brothers a spray painter) Wouldn't mind a plenum at some stage but not a real restriction. I plan to get this all done eventually but not sure where it's best spent first. I always listen to solid advice and you guys and bruce have always given that I rekon. Cheers!
