Yeah box has been built by MV's and run in now I just haven't had the time to take it back to get tweaked by MV's or Bruce. Couldn't be happier with it

Sweet! Just what I wanted to hear. I've got about 500km of running in to do then back to MV for some tweaking and then straight back to Bruce for a re-tune.

To be honest I'm not sure what I'm looking for with the stall but the box is great, such an improvement with firm shifts that give me a chub. He did say everything went well and they were able to easily get 2500-2600rpm through the stall.

Got my car back (I'd burnt out the C1 clutch and a few other things....lots of slippage) I can put the private drag day idea on the facebook group also and I know some of the members here are members on there but I think we'd get 20 from that group easily.

Quick update: Spoke to Dave at DRW Automatics who was great and had the best customer service of the lot that I've spoken too but in the end recommended MV to do the work too. Got the car booked in for MV's on monday and hopefully pick it up friday with the built box and 2600rpm stall (went with that based on advice I'd got and what I want to do with my car) Can't wait! I'm fizzing at the bum hole....still gotta run the box in though

Yeah thanks Simon im happy to take all the advice I can get....besides selling up and updating to a newer model. Dave's gonna call me back today for a chat about it.

Jet is the standard one going to allow me to lock-up? or do I need a proper one for that? something I should ask them? I'm not too concerned about running it at the drags, maybe once a year. Wish I understood all this sh*t lol

Unsure on whether the converter work their proposing is the best I can get or ideal for the setup? Wanting to do it once and right. Thank you Enquiry: Hey guys, I own a 2004 XR6 Turbo with 320rwkw, it’s got the 4 speed BTR box in it which is showing signs of stress with the power which I expected. I called up the other week and spoke to a guy called Gary I think and discussed what was possible but looking to get a quote now. If I could get a quote to rebuild and strengthen my gearbox to handle around 400rwkw, I’ll probably only ever run 350 but I like to be safe. I’d like to put a 2800rpm hi-stall in also, happy to take your advice but would like a quality one such as TCE or dominator, I say this because I’ve heard people modifying the stock one which isn’t something I want. Could I get a price for drive in, drive out and one for just the box being delivered? I’m not very mechanically minded but have researched as much as possible which led me to you guys so happy to take your advice on what I’ve asked for. Response: The stage 2 high performance transmission that we build is rated to 350rwkw, but we have many customers that run 400rwkw with no problems. The stage 2 transmission includes a shift kit valve body upgrade, planetary set, h/p 2nd servo assemble and a 2600rpm high stall converter (standard body) $2850 trans only or $3200 supplied and fitted.
