Get the bruce special on the cat if you havent done so already. like jet said it will be the cause of most problems

might go see bruce tomoz see what he reckons.. and yes jet I still have to sort the cat... I bin lazy brudda lol

mainly just wondering if a blocked cat could be the source of the funny spooling noise, like too much back pressure or something? those gases have gotta go somewhere

some guys reckon it could be the turbo bolts...

Yea ford boy I had similar issues when the manifold bolts were loose. Took an xr8 at the lights and couldnt get away from it so I knew something was wrong. Felt like massive turbo lag and pretty low on power overall. Easy to check before getting the cat done.

I think I already have to tighten mine up again after about 2000 k's

def get a 'bruce spec' cat dude. turbo bolts should be checked too.

faaaaark! just tried to upload another tune with the xcal 3 and fked it, says turn back to stock if the car does not start (which it doesnt). if I put it back to stock will my custom tunes still b in there? im soo fkn pissed rite now!

Edited by Marc17

dude your car wont run with big injectors and stock tune well coupla kms down the road anyway the plugs will foul up,

try this disconnect the battery for 10 min then try to re flash , u wont loose any tunes loaded to your x3 dont stress

all good, once I loaded back to stock I just simply reloaded my custom tune and now all good........thank f*ck!
