yeah I'll be up the coast road & then down the palmerston & then back up to cairns then. I cant do too much but the mrs is busy saturday morning up in cairns so I might go & put a few klm's on it then. Im looking foward to the drive!!!

Thanks Spiro im sure I will. I got a new amp & headunit so I might fit that before I go too far in it. Cant have no tunes. lol.

Little bits got finished off today & the fabricator is goin in tomorrow to do the last bit on the intake & then its goin on the dyno to do abit of runnin in & im pickng it up friday arvo sometime. that's the plan anyway.

Im taking it for the weekend to put the klm's I need to run the box in & then dropping it straight back off to them sunday arvo so they can do an oil change then there gonna try a mediocre tune & then a 20psi for a while. Cant rush a good thing. We'll wait for the 30psi tune after I do my little drive to brissy over christmas. Id dare say it'll be 2 weeks before I get it home with any descent power. I could of taken it with power but id prefer to do it this way that way we know everything is apples. Just being anal I guess!!!

that's what I figure, whats another week or 2 in the grand scheme of things. I'm still goin for a cruise so I'll get that out of my system at least.

hey John, I just noiced your rear housing isn't ceramic coated nor does it have a heatshield over it - are you looking at doing something about this? Heat shield, turbo beanie?

I burnt te crap outta my bonnet liner running at power cruise with the rear heat shield off after my turbo beanie split - left too much longer it would've caused paint issues. This is just with the stock turbo rather than your big monster mounted up high like that!

I spose the beauty of a build like this it can on for months/years after the main part is done. The majority of things are changed & complete but theres still a few things left to break. lol. Will cross those bridges when it happens, have allowed abit aside for damage to the rear that could happen when we do start racing the thing again.

Yeah Pat those pics were only a sneak peak its got a beanies on it now. I could imagine the damage it would create without it.

I spoke to them not long ago & its all a goer so I'll be picking it up around 5 tomorrow to give them enough time to cross the t's & dot the I's so to speak. Didnt need to take the day off but I recon I'll be near useless tomorrow anyway. lol. Will only be a teaser anyway with handing the keys straight back over, cant wait for that part though, I think the boys are more excited about that part than I am. lol.
