  1. Congratulations John & Jamie, the old girl is really starting to move now, I gather that was on relatively soft boost settings as well... Got to be happy with that guys!
  2. It is equivalent to neither Jet, our cylinder head program is full CNC and we utilise a totally different and superior valve train with max oversized valves and totally different spring pressures, our bottom end also goes through a totally different crank lightening and hardening procedure as well as billet main caps fitted with custom pistons and rods to suit. So you really can't compare them at all my friend!Hope this helps (loud thinker) ......;-) Mummba it's running a very old cast comp wheel GT42 at the moment, the cylinder head extreme efficiency has dropped the boost levels substantially and produced numbers that speak for themselves..
  3. It's a DLM!-Spec 798r Jet 4.0L
  4. Just glad your happy with the results of that tired old cast GT 42 on it Brandon. Happy days and please be careful on the road my friend..
  5. Very strong results indeed through the auto! Well done Karl and crew keep up the good work!
  6. So far so good buddy, chemo seems to be finally working pretty well, I have no complains thus far all has been as good as it can be under the circumstances, thanks for asking bud... On a different note can't wait to get the car finished and on the road again...;-)
  7. Very nice indeed Wanago, plenty of time and money has been utilised on this build! It all looks like that has occurred in the right places, best of luck on the race track, you have one very serious contender now for the winning numbers and records, drive carefully and stay safe...
  8. Hey Mastika, Project is moving along nicely, have pulled the engine completely down after the engine Dyno work to check it over and refresh it with new bearings etc before we chuck it in the car, I have also removed the stage 6 head that has been freshened up as new and will be put on sale shortly to make way for testing our monster stage 7 cylinder head that will be going on the motor for further R&D as well as power and analytical changes being meadured next time round, the car should be back together by the end of March god willing everything goes to plan.. Cheers Spiro DLM
  9. There are plenty of photos on our website my friend, as with any ultra high performance engine parts they require a proffessional and experienced machine shop in order for the fitting to go without complications, we do offer the parts on there own however only offer warranty if we perform the work ourselves.. Cheers DLM
  10. And here are some pics of the bottom end, Brandon is receiving one of the lightest and most precise rotating assemblies on the market. Modified crank, billet main caps 9/16 head studs, laser diamond bore and hone etc etc. not long now bud and you will be on the road again!
  11. Happy Birthday SPIKO!

  12. This is not an Envy Dyno tuned car fellas, this is the little dragon that has been tuned by CV Performance initially, it was then fine tuned further because of changes by Brent Daniels close friend, it runs a DLM-Spec 1098r engine and a mental Precision turbo as well as our DLM race port plenum and TBA 105mm, those 8.2 pass was performed in its first outing and on very low boost!!! The Little Dragon has much left in it just to put it lightly!!! Stay tuned for the next test session, you will all ascertain at that point how mental Daniel's car has become, and yes it's a BA XR6..... Of-course sporting the Australian record in its first outing!! Nothing wrong with those numbers at all people...
  13. My best for now was 1.8 in the 60 no burnout as the 2 step was playing up, it still ran 10.22@145mph on low boost 27psi in the manual, point is if I changed my shift points the car would run 12.00 @ 138mph, that's how difficult getting the fat girl down the quarter is in a manual, only by changing shift points you lose almost 2 seconds & 7mph FFS... Lol
  14. Getting real close now John I bet your excited again, mani and polished rocker garnish and polished turbo look horn!!! Can't wait till its back on the rollers you owe me a squirt around the block!...;-)
  15. Hey Dave, Thank you for your kind words, as far as the Vipec option is concerned I haven't had much personal experience with the unit however I have heard of plenty success stories, I intend to look into this option further and see if we can provide the (in the middle option) through DLM in the near future...
  16. Send me an email describing exactly what you require in detail through the DLM website and I will price it up for you no dramas!!
  17. Hey Jet, as of today Motec is the only ecu that you can buy the feature for running the ford fly by wire throttle body correctly through the motec alone no piggy back option. Haltech I am aware are working on something similar right now but it isn't available as yet to the masses currently testing, that is why DLM haltech plug in looms are only on offer for cable TBA as yet. My vehicle would be the most exstensively modified Motec systems thus far but there are others that we're done more simply before mine like Brian BCL and Menace Jay that are members here. My instal is being done by Phil Laird Graphic Skills Racing and he is the guy in the photo above..
  18. Definitely Motec Jet for a complete package, haltec are great but not quite at that level as yet....;-) Bang for buck though the Haltech is definitely an option to consider, but you will compromise...
  19. Ok, so let me give you fella's a run down on how I have spec'd the wiring and Motec systems, I am also running a Motec ADL 3 dash with all the bells and whistles. So, Motec is running everything except the dash radio and ABS system that is functional even with my 4 link rear end, thanks to Kyle and 6Boost, this was not easy, dash and original tachos also still functional. We have setup the Motec M800 & CDI as well as the 888 to be capable of selecting 4 pre-loaded tunes on 4 different fuels without having to plug in a laptop etc. it is switch operated. I have also set up a 9 position mental switch on the right lower dash section that is capable of adjusting and loading 9 different boost levels from 10 to 100psi if necessary, this will enable me to actually drive the car to Willowbank on my new street (micky thompson treaded )315/60/15's as it is engineered and plated with all the mods except nitrous that exsists but isn't fitted to the car until much later on, so after tuning to whatever the max boost level will be on the dyno on the 4 various fuels I will be able to slowly dial the car in at the track without requiring a pit crew every time we go..eg. start with 20psi then 25,30,40,50,60. Anti-lag and gear position is setup on the shifter and I decided to run a separate 46mm gate on the cold side over and above the 50mm blow off, this runs its own 4 port solenoid and it is controlled separately through the Motec, this enables me to 2 step from 10psi to 40psi if necessary, and yes Jet it also operates between the gears enabling me not to lift off the gas pedal while shifting in the Magnum T60 that has been modified yet again with a steel bell housing for the car to meet ANDRA requirements (safety) I hope the above may have answered any questions you may have had in that department Jet... (Your Welcome) :vampire:
  20. Some further Updates pics, and final Motec & Ignition sytems check for engine dyno preparations... Put the volume up and enjoy :sungum: :sungum: :sungum:
  21. Thankfully, my most recent treatment went very well, believe me when I say I spend no time feeling sorry for myself lol, business as usual is how I deal with it.. Thank you for your wishes..
  22. Honestly Quinn I really don't know what your on about buddy but you definitely have a problem with me! The site and thread is meant to emphasize on our marvelous cars not our personalities, If I wanted to date you brother I would of become a member of a dating site and I suggest you do the same I will try and comment on your key points regardless. For someone that publicly states you don't know much and you admit it, you have plenty to say about me young fella, so let me clarify a few things so you don't continue making an ass out of yourself! You say you love the car, thanks, that's all you should be focusing on... As far as what DLM and its associates fabricate or design it is actually common knowledge so if you took the time to inquire you would actually already know that we work as a team on some things and we work alone on others which have already benefited many genuine people on this site and on others, we are known first and foremost as the people that offer a helping hand As far as trying to sell stuff, you said it! Our stuff mostly sells itself we apologize if this bothers you I actually even remember being there for you once upon a time when you called offering a helping hand yet again, I always presumed you would thank me sooner or later, and yes, you have.. What I personally do for this forum as far as $$$ is concerned is public and I do love the place that's why I do it, I sometimes wish that I had the same available to myself 20 years ago, it would of been a great help and saved me plenty of dollars. As far as crafty is concerned my clients & associates as well as 90% of everyone else know exactly what I'm about and how much I care about our Fords, you obviously don't read so how would you know? As far as me driving for you is concerned I'm sorry but I only drive for myself, and if you weren't there when I ran my car to a 10.2@145mph in manual full of problems that is not my fault, next time stay informed and you wont miss it lol.... :sungum: My project with the Dragon has taken plenty of time, I know this bothers you, but most good things do take time when we attempt to do them correctly! So I apologize to you personally for being diagnosed with Terminal Lung Cancer half way through the launch of DLM and the completion of the Dragon project.... I wonder if you would take the same amount of time that I have taken (This has been much less) for the past 8 months to keep the people on this forum that actually do care updated under the same circumstances????? My advice to you is grow up Quinn you seemed like a nice enough bloke when I met you briefly and stop assuming that you know people brother because you don't know me, Understood?
  23. I have both manual "Magnum Mal Wood Steel Bellhousing custom built box & Auto T400 for the car, but we will start with manual. I will start with standard TB and DLM Spec plenum for testing as well as stage 6 DLM spec cylinder head before moving to Stage 7, 8, 9 with 90mm TB & 102mm TB as we progress with R&D.. "Pffffft................ I'm not even going to bother with your recent rant Quinn, most people get the message first time round when they are out of line on someone elses thread! So if you have a problem with mine stop dropping by to give your 5 cents worth and ill stop giving you $1 in return understood?" Maybe some alcohol involved on the day, or just simple envy most times does the trick.....
  24. Very healthy results for the mods on the car top effort fellas.....
