Project ZF 1000hp & 9sec

Guess we all find out soon, one of my mates was just in there & said it was getting backed on to the dyno. Should have some idea of figures within a day or so I spose all things goin well. I wasnt expecting it to go on for another couple of days I guess there excited as I am to see what it can do.

I'm gonna err on the cautious side & say 450kw but wouldnt be surprised to see something abit more. As they say it'll make what it'll make we can't do anymore than what we have. Either way im excited & I recon im gonna be useless at work for the rest of the day or at least til I hear how it goes.

that's a good attitude to have john! some people have unreal expectations I reckon anything over 450 on pump would be a good achievement!!!good luck hope it all goes well

We cant do much more than we have & im sure 450 with that big turbo will different to the std setup that's all I can ask. We have race fuel for when its needed for racin & dyno days so no doubt it'll make more than we'll ever need but most importantly it'll be good to beable to drive it & not really have to worry about breaking anything major. When it was wrung out I was always worried that the next drive to the corner store could be its last.

It looks good, sounds good & im sure the performance will be fine. Cant wait to beable to share it with my mates again & beable to use it in shows to slightly pay back those that have put so much work into it.

it did a few little runs. at 4500rpm with 18psi & only 4 deg of timing it made 350kw. There gonna get into it tomorrow & see what it can do at 20 with some healthy amount of revs. was at 11.5:1 afr's as well.

yeah its getting there, its off the dyno getting the first oil change today so it might not see it again til tomorrow. No hassles though I cant go & pick it up anyway until later in the week.
