Did anyone head out to palmyra last night? I know Dave was keen and if he would have known before hand we would have tested my mates FG xr6t that was tuned yesterday by Dave!

Could have stayed an extra day.

We were all a little dissappointed by the end result although it is stronger down low and the trip home was fun.

Car was previously tuned with 318rwkw, everything fitted except full exhaust. Got the single 3.5in exhaust fitted and only gained 10-12rwkw and eneded with 330rwkw.

Dave did remove the actuator before hand at his place and they are strong enough, he believe's its just the standard turbo which is running out of puff which I agree by watching the results.

I had a run at palmyra last night. It was a good night but I couldn't beat my PB. Did 2 13.2's and 2 12.8's. I cant seem to get it to build much boost on the line, even doing the 2-1 stall. On the first run a 13.2 I stalled it up but just before it went green the engine lost all revs and ambled off the line. Can't wait to get it tuned.

What MPH were you running? My first ever time out in Townsville I kept running 13-13.1 at 112-113mph. Mine is a BA 4speed auto with about 300rwkw. I just couldn't get into the 12sec with my 3 runs.

Was hell fun though and I will get the final mods of 60lb inj, wastegate and actuator done soon and that will do me. Should be happy with consistant 330-340rwkw then.

My friend is looking for a bigger turbo now and will chase up to 380rwkw, it never ends! lol

MPH was 112-114 2 weeks ago with a best time of 12.6 on street tires. This week mph was 111-112 but on et streets, best time 12.808.

What is the townsville track like? Id like to see Dave soon to jump into the 11's.

townsville strip is average at best on street meets, I hav little faith in getting my mt's 275's to hook up tonight...will b interesting though, anything under 11.7 and ill b over the moon (providing traction holds up). to hav a run down townsville strip and not worry too much about traction u really need to race your car on an actual event where they prep the track.

well as suspected I struggled with traction, getting a best of 12.00 @ 119mph with a 2.0 60ft. time to save coin for a new pair of semi's as mine r now f*#ked. should piss an 11 in next time as the car is capable of 1.8 60's...little cooler conditions should see me hit 120-121mph also.

So close to the 11 you can taste it! I have heard you all racing tonight but have been stuck at home...

How's the gearbox holding up? I'll see now if I can drag my mate out there with his FG next time you head out. He only has stock street tyres atm though!

im also pretty certain im not making 358rwkw as my mph is way low for that power in my thoughts. with that mph what would u guys think the car is actually making at the rears?

Did the tuner do a back to back dyno run to see how much power loss you get after that 358rwkw run?

When I went out I ran pretty consistant 112.5-113mph in my BA. I had it dynoed at TMS and it ran 318rwkw first run then within the minute it ran 297rwkw which I was surprised at the loss, 10rwkw yes I would expect with my power level but 20rwkw loss is dirty at best!

My understanding then would be that I do a burnout, some heatsoak or its in the tune and I line up with about 300rwkw which is more like my mph? Either that or my enigine is falling over mid run losing all that power?

Ask blueboost (Dave) though as he'll know what mph you should be running...

not sure about the back to back runs hey mate, mite hav to ask them. but my best mph happened on my 3rd successive run with no cooldown period...im just going to put it down to a happy dyno, I would assume with my mph that it would hav been producing about 330-340rwkw on the nite. ohh well still an easy 11 in her next time with sticky tyres. mite head to the strip with street tyres on the 5th june to see what times/mph I run on stock rubber for sh*ts and giggles. to answer your question about the auto, it seems to b holding up just fine
