The answers ye seek be over here...

^^This doesn't seem to exist anymore!

wanted to read this up, as
I
have a fair idea, but dont wanna risk stuffing up something in the process

Anyone interested in running through it quickly? (blocking off stock blow off valve)

regards.

Pull off the crossover (screw driver + some small ratchet bits will get it done) then pull the bov off, and replace where the bov was 2x 1" chair stoppers. Put a screw in the vax line that used to go to the bov and zip tie it. That's a quick run down.

I blocked my BOV bust mechanic style

It's all still there and stock factory looking, but now not working

It takes 20 seconds to return to stock, which I may do... My car doses with it operational anyway, cos the factory BOV can't handle the high boost. But non turboside intake dose is low pitched sounds like Dooooooo dooo doo doooooooo do do doo do dooo do do d ooo

Turbo side it was like Fuuuttooo toot too too tu tuuuu tu tut too tooo.... Annoying

With factory BOV working under high boost let off it makes a sound like.... Jew Jew.... And that's it.. Low boost you can hear it venting back into intake most of the time.

I wanna put a duck caller on the BOV.... So it quaks..... Qwakk qwakkkkkk qwakk...

I love my BOV. I scored a Turbosmart one for 80 bux and it sounds awesome even on an auto. Even on light throttle I get a nice flutter

80 bucks, nice pick up.

Think I bought mine brand new from a local place for $249 - can't quite remember though as it was almost a year ago now but I know it was definitely much more than 80 haha.

Second hand?

Bovs shouldn't flutter, they are meant to eliminate flutter.

Must be set to blocked up mode? Mine flutters but it's the stock one and as said probably can't flow the tripled boost :)

I tried a mates turbosmart kompact on mine late last year. and didnt like it.

the pppshhhhhhh sound was too long. and being an auto the only time you heard it is when I made it. so kinda stupid.

put it all back to stock.

just my experience with a bov
