As the title says ive picked up an FPV wheel

Are they easy to change and what size spanners/sockets are needed.

was told you need to hit the air bag a few times just to make sure it works

Make sure you disconnect the battery BEFORE you disconnect the airbag.

Apparently it thinks its been hit in the front end and fires off the airbag???

You need a special socket Robbo...can't remember the name of it though. Torquebit or something?

Your friendly Ford dealer should be able to sort it out with minimum fuss

And videotape it whilst attempting the switch... just in case...

From memory it is a T6 Torx bit. you can get a whole set from bunnings for $30

After you disconnect the battery, make sure you hit the highbeam switch a few times to make sure there is not residule power.

or you could sit on it and have your mates fire it off.

Rob ive fitted about 5 of these, 2 to my own cars, one to Saleen's old bus, I can do it for you if ya want.

You need to remove the airbag, but disconnect the battery first, and let it sit for a beer or 2.

Once the airbag is out its straightforward.

Make sure you crack the studs before jacking up the car & have you're locknut key handy
