How To Remove Dash Ba/bf

Does the air con need degassing when replying a ba ford heater core? Is there any way of avoiding it as I just foxed the air con and got it gassed

Gday lads, just want to thank you all for your font of knowledge. Have owned my Ba for a year now and yes a few minor issues here and there. Before that had a bravo 4x4 for 17yrs.

With money tight you blokes give an old backyarder the confidence to save a quid and get it done right 1st time....cheers to all

So I have to take my BA dash out, when I do it how long can I leave the battery disconnected? So when I unplug and remove the ICC will it be OK then and when reinstalling will there be an code I have to put in??

1/2 an hour before tackling air bags is the rule so just disconnect the battery before you start. ICC will display "CODE" when you first power it up afterward but after a couple of key cycles and waiting a couple of minutes with the key on it will come good.
