But my point being Stripey is putting a lot of thought into the one chick and if she was putting the same amount of thought back into him he would have seen her ten times and she would have Fharked him a dozen by now

Yeah but I have an over active mind and have a habit of over thinking literally everything, so that's not just specific to her. And I hadn't spoken to her in like 3 months before we caught up last week...I had plans every other night of my break, then I flew back to work this morning. So we would have been doing well to have seen each other once, let alone multiple times since we went out the other night...

The original contact 3 months ago was for her ex's benefit, coz he's literally the most private person you'll ever meet. She'd told me they split, after which I'd caught up with him (for the first time in like 6 months, before which I hadn't seen either of them for like a year or two) and he didn't even mention it. Then once he knew I knew, he still didn't really say anything about it at all.

Like I said, I'm not expecting anything from this...but I've been out of the game a LONG time, so was just curious to hear from those with more experience than me...

Treat each other with respect (ask for permission where necessary, in this case) and you'll be fine.

As long as the two who are "interested" are the ones making the final decision, then no worries - like fluff said, go your hardest.
