Should John Howard Retire ?

I thought I would post this up for all the howard haters in this forum (certainly not me !!!)

A current affair just did a poll on If you think john howard should retire, the results came back the next night, 19% said yes, 81% said no.

I reckon that's a pretty good indication of what the general concensus is at the moment as with john howard remaining PM.

I dont know where these polls are coming from at the moment where labour is in front, everybody I speak to is voting for howard, mostly the older people I work for, younger people seem to be undecided, or just voting the way their parents did because they dont know any better.

Centrebet has them at just about even odds, and after all there putting there money where there mouth is.

If you believe tv polls then you will believe anything. The people who vote on those polls are generally those who are actively seeking change. The people who don't vote on them are usually the ones who are happy with the situation and don't really care about a stupid phone poll, as they will have their say on voting day.

I honestly believe Australia is a great place to live, and wouldn't change anything about it. If it ain't broke dont fix it. Onya Johnny

Johny will not retire untill they lose the election, cant see him waiting another 4 years for the next one.

Any way a change of leadership will only hurt the Libs chances of winning.
