Good thing it's a 5 minute job! Maybe it needs doing a few times to start with if there's a lot of build up.

I haven't done this yet but I will be giving it a go.

Just a word of caution if you have an AFR gauge. Silicone based products may damage your wideband sensor. Not sure about the narrow band sensors or what other products may do damage.

Just for those who are mechanically challanged, for the battery when disconnecting which terminal do I take of first and which do I put on first when reconnecting

a good tip for when removing or disconnecting battery. Get a 9v battery (square type) the matching Plug for it, attach alligator clips on each wire. Then clip them on the matching leads +/+. -/- when car battery is removed this will prevent alarm turning on and it will save your icc settings. Edited by FORDCRAZY

I've never lost my stored radio stations from disconnecting the battery - I have the povo ICC though.

Did this this afternoon after I gave her a tub. Power feels much more linear. Didn't have to take the battery out.
