Gorillas In The Mist Expedition

Aside from the ever-present "mist" on the mountain range... we all had a great cruise to Bathurst. Even though there were only four cars (Ken, Fraggle, 4runner & moi), all 15 of us enjoy a great day out!

As always I have some "evidence" of our jaunt. Great to see the "Voy Boy" again (& his bro Julian), meet up with Fraggle & family, as well as the dedicated cruisers.

BTW - my head is still sore from hitting the roof while going through that "rollercoaster" straight near Tarana. I did get "good air" though (SWMBO knows!).

Great cruise (as usual) folks. Big thanks to all who turned up and made the day what is was ... A HOOT!! :w00t:

... managed to off-load the handbrake to poor ol Phil, who's ears must still be ringing. .. Cain (Voy), brother Julian and Mini-Me help me lead the pack through some very nice roads.

Weather wasn't the best, but Gorilla boy felt quite at home I'm sure.

Happy laps of the track went without incident ... well, except for the smart-arse local who keep playing the police siren over the CB as we were driving (legally ) around the track ...

Looking forward now to the Ozzie day BBQ at Appin ... ... hope the kiddies aren't too upset when I turn up in "Budgie-smugglers" and swimming cap?

Great cruise all - had an awesom time buying ford merchanside....running laps around Bathurst and the open road was awesom....except for that blind crest into a tight left hand bend

Those photos u took and framed of Fraggles car Phil looked awesom! I can just see a fraggle whimpering with happy tears haha!

Julians most likely going to be joining us on tassie as long as his yr12 exams are over. He really enjoyed the quick laps around Bathurst and the open road cruise. He has just discovered what the jesus handle is actually for.

Reports are just in that Fraggle has made his way up the NSW coast. It was confirmed that he made a stop at the Big Bananna in Coffs, but police were called when he started eating the exhibit.
