Did this end up getting sorted? Would b sik 2 know wtf it was? I've got the same problem - cant hear the relay click when I press the foggies button. Parkers & fog lights both don't work? Have replaced all 3 fuses/relays above & no luck? Voy

Yeah - precious has new rimz...finally - only took 2 years to get the fkn things! 19's fill out the arches nicely. Havn't taken her for a hillz run yet so will be takin it easy till I get a feel for the rubber.

Yup - an isolator that removes the rippling noise by capacitively coupling into an op amp, configured as a buffer via unity gain on an inverting input which outputs the incoming audio signal to a 180 degree copy but out of phase with the origional input TOTALLY SIMPLE!! why didnt I think of that....

Just came back from ford - they installed the 'black box' then got me to take precious for a test drive with all the wiring loose on the floor. Was just a box with a retractable audio cable that connects to the aux audio port and the mobile office connector for the mobile phone. I had a little look and it was just marked as a 'signal booster'. It only camouflaged the underlying problem by boosting the mp3 volume heaps but the underlying whine is still there. Got em to take it out and talk to ford again.

Precious is booked in 2morrow morning for her checkup - will c what ford end up doing to fix it....or not

I know Navman supports speed cause SmartST has a speed alert option. Just a matter of finding the right program that'll export the correct data to google earth so it'll show it. But I think Goops is using some kind of customer plugin to get that speed line to show - no other application ive found has it. That'd be awesom if u could find your goops data - just so I can make sure that google earth will actually show me the speed line if its given the right input

Does destinator have the ability 2 do what Goops does? I.e. track where you've been and log the gps data into .kml files so that you can import it into google earth + show the changing speed of preeecious in the track line??? I've got several programs running on my Navman atm to achieve this but cant get the speed line to show. Atm ive got a program called GPSGate which takes the incoming GPS data and maps it to a virtual port so I can run multiple applications at once that need the GPS data. So I run SmartST - came with the Navman - awesom navigation program! + run GPS2GoogleEarth which just logs the GPS data and exports it to .kml files I can import into Google Earth - that's all easy to do except the data I get doesnt include the speed data. All I get is a solid line - want that speed line lika Panda has in his origional pics!!! Panda - could you do me a favour and send me your .kml file from Goops so I can make sure my google earth isnt the problem?

Whats the best way 2 navigate the carputer? I've got an MCE (Microsoft Media Centre) remote which I currently use with a program called HiP that takes the incoming IR signals and can action requests - everything from 'open application' to 'turn off pc'. How are u navigating carputer atm Panda?

4runner's got a diversity antenna - supposed to be pretty good but still not 100%.

All I know is theres a lot of whining going on n most of its from me Thanks ShockF6 - will get ford to have a go - they havnt tried 2 fix it yet - I took it into them about 6 months ago and they said they didn't wanna touch anything till they investigated it further - never know - they might surprise me.
