Lol, those GSR's when will you guys learn.

I hope to have my XR in a couple of weeks. I've decided to expand my color choices as black is proving to hard to find.

So shattered.

Pretty sure I was a second or so quicker around the circut in general, but he couldn't catch me out of the corners and down the straights.. with my pox tune in.

I had a run with an sti a lil while back.. from stand still I had lil traction but still spanked him.. that was a while back though, b4 major modz..

I really dun get people to run with nemore.. dunno y

U can ask simon about our run with the r33 gts-t on the way to kwinana.. with leaking boost for me, they still got hammered and were no comp.. they loved simons 3rd to fourth

I forgot to add that both the liberty (with a gold Sti badge I think) and the 33 (GTR not GTS-T) were both fairly modded with loud BOV's exhausts intakes etc.. the GR in particular was very nice, huge FMIC, lowered with nice rims etc, sounded damn nice and had the lumpiest idle in a nice way.. the liberty was meh though, just a fast boonger

I really dont get it when people put HSV labels on their SS or worse still V6 commodore... or even worse a GTR badge on their GTST

On the subject of being spanked... I got done nicely by this chick... in a newish AMG C5... she caught me off guard for starters and then just planted her foot into the ground... the auto V8 just nailed me after that... but then again her car was over 200K lol It was some old chick with some dude... her toy boy I presume!

mate those C55 AMGs are friggen horn, id love one in black with a nice brabus kit on it.. they're about $150k I think, 5.5 V8, 270 kW and 510Nm of torque... 0-60mph in 5.1 sec

You should look at getting better softer compound tyres or one day you will cause some damage running normal street tyres on a high powered vehicle. It will get you by surprise when you are doing an everyday overtaking manouvre and the rear kicks out unexpectantly. I think I saw you arking it up thru the gears one day when pulling out of Servo but whoever it was obviously had some power but not going anywhere fast on the tyres that were used.

I run Toyo RA-1s on two different 500+rwhp street cars and there are minimal wheel spin problems due to their excellent grip. I used to use Yoko A032 which was OK but RA-1s do the job much better. Although they wear quickly there is no point having power if you cant get it to the road effectivly. Cause there is less wheel spin they do actually last longer than a tyre that offers minimal grip.

If I use any normal compound I have the same problem as you which is very dangerous. An Asian guy in Perth with 500+hp Supra lost it in 4th when it hit boost and hit a pole cause of this exact problem. Although he had something like 275s on the rear, the compound offered minimal grip.

Mine spat me off the road the other day, in first mind you! Still can't figure out why so badly this particular time, it's normally very controllable and just dances her tail a little, hell be lucky if I was doing 50-60 km's/h.

So I'm in the grippy tyre market!
