So what have I learnt this week on fordxr6turbo.com...

Thermo dynamics, paint everything black, or not, yes, no, yes, no?

Brembo brakes can do repeated 200km/h+ and stop in traffic

Modded RS's can lap quicker than a V8 Supercar

Anything I have missed?

theyre pretty good. built a fair few tri's for vl's that run deep into the 10s/9s.

never heard of anyone having any problems with them??

You forgot that a new diff bush fixes everything and the beer in singapore is cool and tasty.

Ahh that's good to no man I had some big trans issues and my mech is gunna send it up there for a full build. Which I had planed on doing but at Preston autos.

It's guna cost me a arm and a leg but now but should be a bit of fun once it's done. I just hadn't heard much about them so just trying to sus it out

Btw last years V8 qualifying at PI was 1.32. Gtr35 does it in 1.44. 12 secs a lap is a lifetime. FFS let's just drop it. RS is a good car but no match for a V8 supercar or a GTR.

Dtm are a great bunch of blokes. One of the guys I play dodgeball with works for them and a couple people off here know him. He's got 2 cars both with btr's and haven't failed. They certainly know the right way about building and tuning them, unlike some mobs who have theirs fail and then give btr's a sh*t name. His cars featured on the front page of street machine not long ago.
