Just wondering what would be a fair price to pay someone to fit a full set of valve springs.

Already have valve springs, just been down to local Ford dealer and he reckons they can do them for no more than $350. Seems a good price.

I was thinking of doing them myself, but for that price do you think it would be worth the hassle of doing it yourself.

is that like a full set of 24 springs or just exhaust??

what kinda springs are they, XR8 ones??

They are from Nizpro. I have heard of people using XR8 one's but decided to go for ones that have been developed specifically for the XR6 turbo

XR8 ones are more than adequete

What is the sign that valve springs are to weak.

When the car is being tuned with more boost the valve spring will start to have valve flutter. Mine started happening at 12psi, which is good for standard springs some cars start at 8psi. There is quite a range depends if you got good or not so good springs.
