Ok guys just watched the vid on here of the T with the hot doggs and I WANT!!! So... How much will this cost? Do I just go up to the guy at the exhaust shop and say I want u to remove the center muffler and I want Hot dogs????.....hehehe AND.... will this affect my comp in anyway (no edit yet) eg: Overboosting etc..... I have an 03' Auto too.... Bought it about a month ago now and I too was cautious about the bugs... but I bit the bullet and she hasnt done one thing wrong yet.... Go for it!!!!

Well I havent heard from the guy wanting to buy the old car so I think it will be put back up for sale..... Guess the T will have to wait a while Dynowog sounds awsome.... pretty much what im chasing..... as soon as I get the $$ u will be reciving a call....

hehhe Scotty I dont really... just walked up to the guy at the tranny place and asked for one a mate got one and it was sweet.... I think they use tighter bands and something to do with servos basicaly it just makes it shift harder... Insured with shannons and I asked the guy about the mods and he said that they have diff categories with their mods low medium and high... low being for example Lowering etc... Medium being bigger cooler etc.. and high being ecu/computer. He also said that a fairly modded T would cost me $1800 full comp... right now I pay $1500 so the extra few $$$ more is worth it.. plus I could flash back to standard hehehe

Scotty thxx mate... food for thought... Im new to these FORD's making the switch from Expensive Daewoo so any info is good info... So a tranny cooler is the way to go is it... I heard shift kits also give the gear box some extra time before it dies..... or if it is done during the tune there will be no need for it (as in that line pressure stuff)... In holdens every second auto has one but havent heard of many people with em in T's..... I would love for the T to churp through gears... Mmmmm

ok I have the 2nd cai and k&n filter so I can save a bit on that.... yeah I have realized I need to do alot of homework..... I think I will be speaking to the WOG about my tunes... he seems to do a good job from reading posts.... But I dont know about this blowing tranny's n clutches when dealing with him... I guess its one of the perks...hehehe

Yeah ill have to see what change I get from the flasher n tune and then decide on the rest... really want a 'proper cooler' just for looks hehhehe..... Hopefully I dont need springs.... common guys pray with me hehehhe.....If I get a cooler I wont get jectors easy as that and still have the power I want Thanks alot for the info guys helps alot... Dingah.....warrranty finishes this year... bought it second hand so dont know when exactly but its a 03' model BA so count 3 fin 06' right..... and yeah dont want an animal of a car aiming for 250-280rwkw.... donno what boost will get me there but I dont think that's insane considering what these engins a capable of with edit alone

Ey... like $2500 doesnt really go a long way.... but it is a good starting point... I think ill go the Edit/custom tune... and see what I can get with the change.... I think valve springs if I need and or tranny cooler, cat and a larger cooler...

Falchoon.... that's if I need valve springs and injectors... as I said earlier im not chasing huge power I dont think I will need bigger jectors to achieve around what im after. Dingah your right I really need to look at what im really after but then again this is gonna be an ongoing process so alot might change for now 250rwkw will be awsome but in a few months I will be chasing more I know that much but for the funds I have now im just after some opinions on what I should be doin and what I can expect to achieve and also be reliable cause its a daily driver....

Well I need an edit and custom tunes.... but I want a larger cooler(mainly for the looks of it), lower it too, I think ill need a tranny cooler, maybe valve springs?? Im not chasing massive power anythink over 250rwkw's ill be happy (for now) and I have read that with just an edit and tune I should prob get that....

Ok im in the process of selling the old car and will keep about $2500 and chuck the rest on the loan.... I have a stock BA T auto with only a second CAI as far as mods go.... Im after bang for your buck performance mods and also to be reliable.... I have been looking at the packages from some of the usuals here in melb and they all offer like a flasher and a tune for approx $1000 to $1500. After that they all jump to like over $2500. My question is what to do with the rest.... Im really interested with the WOG's package if its still available... I think its the flasher, tune, cooler and BOV for $1700 if its still on that is.... After a sleeper look to the car (all go no show) Cheers MiKa....

Ok my car is a 03' BA T... got it second hand... prob a stoopid question but does the warranty finish after the 3 years or the 100,000 kms or which ever comes first....? Im guessin whichever comes first.... I have 66,000 kms on it so I dun think that will.... End of warranty is a good time for an EDIT me thinks....

22yrs old, XR6T (stock) Shannons, rating 1, full comp $1500

Yea I painted it while it was in the car... Just made sure to mask up EVERYWHERE and still managed to get a bit under the bumper (under the number plate bit) but ya cant see it but yea... took me all of about half an hour... I sanded it (roughly for 2 minutes) then cleaned it up with that grease n wax remover stuff then sprayed 1 coat of VHT Aluminium spray den 1 coat of clear... Let is dry for a while and whent for a spin to dry properly.... couldnt be easier.....

Hey I done it yesterday and I must say it looks a whole lot better.... really grabs attention now...... ill post a pic if I knew how but here it goes....
