I have done it using an Alpine LLC and let me tell you it sounded like SH*T.... I would recomend against it unless you do what Shockf6 suggests, but if u tap into the rear speaker wires as I did the results are shocking. Their are different opinions though.... Save yourself the trouble and go out and buy a AudioControl LC6... Im getting mine installed soon and I picked it up for $240

Mine never goes past half but on a very hot day or after a long period of driving it will sit on half..... So I reckon its normal...

I used to own a holden.. and yes when I see a done up one I still drool....but after driving a vy ss and being dissapointed I took the T for a spin and WOOHOO (in a nutshell)... NOW there is nothing better to do but blow as many holdens away as I can hahahaha

I find in hot weather to get the T moving you have to try harder... push the right foot a bit harder, hold it down for longer.... But on a cold night its effortless
