  1. OK, I just got my XR8 lower air box and modified snorkel delivered today, but still no word on an air filter. Does anybody have any info on how far away they are?
  2. I am currently running nexen 3000's, they are very noisy at low speeds and when cornering at low speeds. They dont have very much straight line grip compared to some hankook Ultra high performances I used to have on my BA. Budget I suppose will need to be around the 350 - 400 mark, not too concerned with cornering grip but more straight line grip with average wear life
  3. At first I enjoyed the wheelspin everytime you put your foot down but now I'm a little over it. I think that 1st gear should have it's name changed to SMOKE! I just want to be able to put my foot down and go without all the fuss. What experience has anyone had with grippy rubber for 245/35 20.
  4. I am running 35 mm spacers and I have had no problems as yet
  5. With a Tuned FG ute, I get around 18l/100 and I always use all avaliable torque whenever I can
  6. I have used one of these on my old ba-T ute , It worked fine had no problems with it.
  7. I finally got the rims for the ute. I know it needs to be lowered a little but I use it for work and do a bit of towing. The pics are not the best as there is poor light and it was raining but you get the idea
  8. Where did you get the xr8 snorkel and what type is it. Is it similar to the bf?
  9. Just saw your vid on you tube, awesome mate
  10. Just want to see what you think of these for the ute. I can get them in 20x8.5 and 20x10's for the rear
  11. Here is a pic after a couple of weeks
  12. Here are some pics of my ute, Just gave it a wax. Im looking to get some wheels but im not sure what. Possibly thinking of getting a set of the 19" FPV dark agent Fg rims.
  13. Daily driven for work, could not think of anything better to drive every day
  14. Been driving my FG T ute for over a week now and it has been pretty wet over here in Adelaide. I must say that keeping it from spinning is a challenge in its self you just have to be gradual with the pedal and it will be fine. Traction control will take care of things if you are sensible but if lets say you are cornering in the wet and plant your foot so it kicks down a gear, well traction controll doesnt do the rear end any justice for the first second or so.
