  1. Yep. What button plug said. Got mine from there Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
  2. Haha you and me need to line up at QR mate. My MTA will hand you your arse haha. You going to torque time nov. 30?
  3. Fwiw I had all heim joints and rear control arm bushes and diff reasealed for 1500 at Fulcrum capalaba. Sounds a little pricey to me
  4. yes I have one and I use plex a lot on it and it's the coolest $49 gadget ever. yet to see if it will work in my amp and stream DTS audio and 1080p mkv's but as I have it now plugged into the telly in the bedroom - phone or lappy set the show/movie and viola.
  5. they really do love fresh fluid don't they? I had my tuner drop the pan at 80 thousands clicks and top up with martini fluid when the trans cooler went on. Did another dump at 125000ks or two weeks ago and it's feeling real nice again. I'll probably change it every 50 thousand from now on.
  6. how different are the tanks and cradles in the coyote cars? There's a few out there running sh*t loads of grunt and they don't typically do the turbo surge tank...they don't fit
  7. someone once upon a time was telling me surge tanks were a good way a few years ago to get big fuel pumps in the system. now that tuners have all sorts of cool technology in regards to logging fuel flow and the like; the issue with surge may have just been they couldnt get a big enough intank pump to work. I know Ratter has some of these cool tools in his shop; he would have more insight than me I have also been reading a bit on how fuel temps are affected with surge tanks if not paying attention to the rest of the system Aftermarket Industries who sell a lot of fuel systems around the world are releasing their own twin pump cradle setup shortly. I am keen to try one.
  8. yea dude mine went all together coupla hours on the dyno and viola been sweet now for over a year and 30000ks Seen something on facey just then which makes me think you have given up on it?
  9. Shifted way too hard. Would nearly chirp at part throttle changes. I have been in other cars that were sweet with zf tune it all depends how good your tuner is
  10. Yep my zf tune from elite was sh*thouse. Ended up back to stock.
  11. My 12psi garret and profile autosports ported rear has no issues with any boost I want - currently 18psi. Interestingly Clinton did one recently as a complete unit from MTA (inc their rear housing) and it wouldn't go under 23psi. Owner love the 410rwkw it made so left it as it was.
  12. Had engine and zf fluid changed. ZF loves me again. Also had fulcrum rebush entire rear end including change heim joints. Like a new bloody car again.
  13. Nah he is using exedy
  14. righto well that means Exedy kit for 700 if mattyp shares where he got that quote from CMS billet shaft (assuming drops right in) My tuner has reclutched several ZF's in the past All up well under 4k fitted...should be right for all my car will ever see (small MTA750 turbo E85 440rwkw) winner. maybe.
  15. I was told exedy Stage 2 was not direct fit for 6hp26 - if they are that's winner for me
  16. where did you get that quote from mate? Do want.
  17. I have spoken to pretty much everyone whom builds these boxes and from my research Not all ZF builds are equal. The tune plays a good part in how the box will survive. Joe offered to send the tune file if I were to buy one of his boxes.Exedy clutches are like $1200 here but can be bought for $600USD from the US.Exedy clutches need mods to work - they don't just drop straight in like the video suggests. There are all sorts of little mods done to the valve body to prevent trans oil from being in places it shouldn't be.Most trans shops whom build them utilise extra OE clutches and thinner steels in their builds rather than the exedy kitsI will probably get Joe to do mine however it's a few more $$$ than I had originally hoped to spend - a few mates of mine have Gilroys boxes and they are holding up well to 450+rwkw and some 1/4 mile abuse (cryo shafts)
  18. Ambrose is back next year. Be interesting to see how he goes. I personally think of they put a good car under him he will smash them but they are a different beast to what he drove prior and definitely different to a 900hp Nascar
  19. Yep. Even the lump can be tuned out but I haven't ever given the car to my tuner for cold start tuning so I live with it.
  20. yep. no surging but, just a bit of lump at idle when cold
  21. Friends babies funeral today. Won't be remembered as one of the best days I have ever had; in fact it plain sucked. However the drinks and dinner we had afterwards was epic; its been a good few years since all the old crew were together in one place and even though the situation was terrible I think we all have helped each other begin the healing phase. May I never have to bury a child.
  22. You work in public transport? My brother in law is a guard on Sydney trains. The stories he tells are often amazeballs and some are just downright disgusting.
  23. Im going to be the first - was this checked prior to retunes and dyno time? I would be pissed off if I had paid money to find a problem then work it out myself...
  24. first I have heard of this fluid causing issues but not the first converter problem I have seen save another several hundred pennies and get a circle D converter
