  1. yeah I thought so myself. I asked is it normal for a car with 90ks on it to which they replied "no we only normally see this in police cars". I took it as them accusing my driving style for it. I do give it a bit here and there but I dont redline every gear and im not that hard on the clutch during take off. It comes across as they make excuses every time. I have complained about knock noises before when I accelerate I 2nd gear. If I suddenly let off the accelerator it makes a loud clunk in the front middle in front of the gear stick. Same happens if for example im in first at about 15ks and quickly push the clutch in. It clunks sometimes on gear changes to when I release the clutch. They tried telling me its roll over noise but isnt roll over when its idling in neutral lol????
  2. Hey guys I've been a long term on and off reader but never posted. This might be a long post but thought I'd put in one post so sorry in advance! I've got an fg 2009 model xr6. I just recently had my 90k service and also had the diff bushes done too. The dealership has told me that the front upper control arm bushes are shot and need urgent replacing now at $1200. Nothing mentioned last service. and also the left rear upper rose joint has excessive play, and the right side has minor. that's gonna cost $500to replace. And a timing case weep at $900. And the front pads with the front and rear disc machined all up is $490. Does this seem like a fair price for everything? ??? I payed $900 for vehicle warranty at the dealership so if I go elsewhere it voids it. But if elsewhere is cheaper but the same service I think I may do it.
