  1. Stock for stock as they left the factory imo F6 has the GT335 Tuned well then the V8 shines
  2. There is an allen key plug on the rear of trans drivers side, measure what comes out and put the exact same back in
  3. Mine does it occasionally also creaping up a driveway Imo I think its a line pressure issue with the low 1st gear in the ZF ZF edit would fix this if we ever get it
  4. Check the centre bearing on the tailshaft Rubber can break away causing shaft to wobble and vibrate
  5. Had the maxis on my BF, for the price I was very impressed with them Good bang for buck tyre

Dont forget the ute is carrying 90kg extra beef to the sedan I would have thought the 335 GT in auto would have gone better than that, maybe the heat had alot to do with it

What was the mph and 60ft of both cars?
  8. I think u will find the norm being 260-270 for the FG F6, not sure about the 290 Mph at the track I have seen 112-113 with 800km on the clock
  9. F6BF replied to xrglen's topic in XR8 & GT
The only one I have heard is 335 manual 12.9 at 114mph
  10. F6BF replied to hypnodoc's topic in Brakes
My FG F6 got new pads at 1000km, didnt want the rotors chewed up like my previous BF F6 Matt from Race Brakes Sydney(0296091101) recommended me the Project Mu pads, they are made in japan Very happy with them, much less dust, quiet, pull up better and rotors after 13,000 km look like new
  11. Nice pics of the typhoon Both awesome cars
  12. I did mine myself, very straight forward, otherwise try the sponsors of this site they are all capable Fair price would be about $400-450
  13. If u're taking off the pan/gasket/filter it will take about 5 to 5.5 litres 9 litres is when trans and convertor are empty My BF did 120,000 km with transmax z no problems factory trans

  18. F6BF replied to F6BF's topic in FPV & Tickford
Straight of the showroom floor 800km 12.51 @ 112.9mph 2.00 60ft Traction is a big issue with these althow auto hard to get of the line cleanly

  20. F6BF replied to F6BF's topic in FPV & Tickford
Had the car for 3 weeks now and its still stock lol Power for a factory car is awesome, boost comes on earlier than my BF, much nicer to drive Will try to get out to WSID soon and see what these can do
  21. Someone posted this on ls1 forum Quote: Some more info on the new FPV V8: FPV GS 315kw 545nm 0-100 in 5.2 (FPV times) bi-modal exhuast non intercooled supercharged 5.0l GT 335kw 570nm 0-100 in 4.9 (FPV times) bi-modal exhuast non intercooled supercharged 5.0l and out of interest F6 (euro 4) 310kw 565nm 0-100 in 5.1 (FPV numbers) The mags are about to get their hands on them so will be interesting to see what times they run. Shame they are not cooled but apparently there is some new tech with the screws on the charger that assists with air temp? Max torque between 2500 and 5000 odd rpm. Weight saving of approx 30 kg over previous motor and motor now sits lower and further back in engine bay. No difference between 315 and 335kw other than tune. Price rises of approx $1800.00 to $2500.00 depending on model.
  22. Million dollar question....how quick are they?, dont want to play second fiddle to the F6 again Need to be under 5 sec 0-100 Word getting around is no intercooler on either model
