  1. WMMFG - this desk warrior still has it... When we get back on the 5th Jan we have an urgent pipework job and all the guys on the floor who are able to do it are already way overloaded for the first week I will be swapping manager hat for tradie hat Practicing purge welds and its all coming back after how many years... 1.5" stainless tube Outside Inside Could do with a bit more argon on the inside but pretty happy
  2. I know what that's like My mods list is very similar to yours though manual not auto, so was interested in what boost you running? It was 39degC with intake temps starting to climb on the day I got it tuned last month so I got CMS to leave it where it was at 15psi on 98 Will be going back early next year for re-tweak on 98 and eflex tune thinking maybe need to upgrade tailshaft first though..!
  3. Well done bud Can I say awesome power for those mods - sure its a gt3582 and not a gtx3582?!? Do you know what boost its pushing?
  4. True that When the gtx3576 had came on special was very tempted Only thing that stopped me was halfway thru doing the same as mattyp - had bought a 3540 with 12lb actuator ($300!!) from a member on another forum Already bought a Kinugawa 7 blade billet wheel and got port job and vsr done at mtq Otherwise would have been a no brainer
  5. Short answer yes Which ones - pretty sure all of precisions ball bearing range The experts will chime in shortly

Damn that is one tidy bay
  8. ^^^^^ same I
  9. Doesn't look or sound like that's the way its going to play out; no indication there has been any harm done to the hostages so doubt the police will do it the hard way But if it was the case then the 'more people' you mention are more than welcome to take a bullet when they have their crack at glory
  10. Just for the record, I have RDA's on my ute and don't rate them at all Shudder like hell at any moderately hard braking, though fine around town More recently had warped rotors on the G6ET - family rig - and replaced them with DBA 4000s Swear by them

Yeah I run 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 on the back also
  12. He can't bitch about the gate being only propped up, can tell the little sod it was getting fixed After some turd had been kicking it a lot lately.
  13. Ralph, how about this... I presume the gate is shut when he does his routine on it. If you have barrel style hinges you can easily lift the gate off and prop it up carefully. When he comes past he puts his effort into the kick and promptly follows it to the ground/into the fence. Not unreasonable physical harm and high likelihood of future gate phobia.
  14. Mine went the same way Noise while winding down got worse and after a day or so started randomly making noises while driving when at certain revs, by the time I got a chance to get it checked out was well and truly rooted
  15. Can confirm that Tunehouse are very thorough and professional and Jim isn't the sort of guy to knock others work But the hub dyno in their enclosed (cold) cell will give you crazy numbers My FG when it still had std turbo & stock cooler pulled 375rwkw on 98...!!
  16. Need stigmata (forum member) to answer that one But he did tell me that core fabrication was underway (in Europe) and he hoped to see it in about 8 weeks, then he would start on end tank design
  17. As mentioned above, stigmata's stepped euro core looks like it will be a game changer when it happens 100mm stepped tube and fin with 1000+ hp flow capacity, no cutting... based on what numbers his current coolers are supporting then it will be a Very Good Thing Getting a little off-topic but still applicable to the OP's post
  18. You might think about it a bit more when you arse end somebody and insurance says 'uh uh' as technically what you're cutting off is structural
  19. ^^^ +1 Best choice for no cutting At least stigmata gets his new stepped euro core design happening
  20. Great write-up, gets me enthused about working on mine
