Have a think about what consists a good risk for a bank. Somebody who will pay the full interest associated with a sum of credit or some who skips out Early and deprives the bank of there hard earned interest? If early payout was preferential for the bank they would give you benefits for doing it not penalties.

We did exactly that with wifey's old mazda a couple of years back. left literally $1 in there. Saved several hundred in interest/exit fees and also help your credit rating better than paying out early.

leave $1 in there and pay out on close out date. interest on $1 is generally less than exit fee's.

Son turned 3 yesterday, took him to buy his first bike and as we left the bike shop I spotted a Monster Truck parked in a Coates Hire Yard (one of the ones from the show this weekend at the Plex) so looped around and pulled up for some photo's. Made his day and made me feel good that he got to see one up close given he's obsessed with Monster Jam and Monster Trucks in General.
